@vulturebunnies
damn. david was so right for this.
wrathion, but suited for business (or at least, his attempt at it)
I love Fenris' romance because imagine having friends who are pining after each other for YEARS then they hook up and you think "FINALLY!" But then they break up the next morning only they're still wearing each other's clothes and making sad doe eyes at each other and pining and flirting and this goes on for THREE MORE YEARS before they get their shit together.
Isabela and Varric must be so exhausted. I'm obsessed
Cats never understand that you're helping them get their claws unstuck from fabric. They're just like "you're tormenting me at the worst possible time I hate you"
Don’t blame me, I voted for Sabellian (Via)

Wrathion and Sabellian in their Bestest Bros shirt. :)

Nobody talks about how hobbies like crochet and knitting have suspense, anxiety, and gambling involved and it’s all thanks to a self inflicted game called yarn chicken

Hello hello here’s some art of one of my blorbos
Missa Brosca and the very helpful Salroka, her loyal mabari.
(Tangential to apologetic/self-flagellating authors' notes) I really wish authors would refrain from commenting on the morality of their characters/stories, period. It's so counterproductive. In their attempt to appease antis, they'll necessarily end up alienating the people who actually LIKE their content.
Consider: I've been following a longfic where the characters are both over 18 but have a significant age difference. I made the mistake of scrolling the comments and see someone complaining at length about how problematic the ship is. Yes, it's a moderately dark and edgy ship for a number of reasons, but the author's reply:
"[Your comment] made me realize I need to put a disclaimer at the start of my fics to make clear...I don't think the relationships depicted are goals to shoot for. Obviously in real life that age gap is horrendous..."
Welp, that just so happens to be the exact age gap between myself and my spouse. Thanks, random author!
tl;dr: why bite the hand fan that feeds reads you?

People are more afraid of being yelled at by one person than of alienating their entire target audience because the latter is less visible to them.
anyway. being fully understand of why da4 is in development hell (ie. the initial live-service plans, andromeda/anthem, poor work conditions, etc) AND being really disappointed and frustrated that bioware has gone 8 years post-dai and 4 years post-da4 announcement without a whole lot to show for it are both things that you are allowed to feel. at the same time even
