Oh last thing

Another thing that makes me really sad about the disassembly drones is that they never got to be kids. They probably got to experience a little bit thanks to Tessa, but because of their lives on earth, and then the absolute solver, they never got to experience childhood and the joy of it. That’s what this scene makes me think about— how they’re still teenagers (18-19 imo) and are clinging onto some childhood whimsy they never got to have. And I feel like J experiences this the most

I loved the new MD short so much.

I have personally always believed J was never straight evil. To me, it was clear throughout the series that J was being manipulated by fear. V was as well, but she overcame that fear because she had N and Uzi by her side. J didn’t get that lucky.

The short not only allowed us to truly see her fear and the manipulation she faced, but also showed us she’s just as silly as everyone else— she has a personality too!! She even believes in Santa 🥹

Overall, the short was incredibly entertaining. The animation was awesome and it made me incredibly happy seeing everyone in motion again. And the re-mastered scene of Uzi walking up to the corpse spire— AAGHHH I LOVED IT!!

Not to mention the scene where V gave J that pen… I love seeing the little ways V shows how she cares ❤️‍🩹
