subtext this, subtext that. dommetext is the way forward. a hot character turns directly to the audience and explains in plain terms how they should interpret the things the text portrays.
I fucking wish they would recognize it’s not “male socialization” and a lot of the aspects they’re assigning as a pattern how so much more to do with not being allowed to be a fucking person. And being excluded directly and indirectly.
Yeah, some people who were isolated from everyone because they couldn’t be themselves is going to notice less social cues and seem to be ignoring them on purpose. Like this among many of these supposed “socially male” shit is so fucking stupid.
I've been thinking too that the significantly higher rates of autism in trans women account for some of what people are attributing to "male socialization." like autistic people are less likely to perform social norms in general, including gendered social norms, so I think some people see autistic trans women and misattribute our low adherence to social norms to socialization, cause they're just so hungry to look for anything they can call "male" about us
Hello, Tumbler.
We all want to read more F/F and Lebanese literature so we can fulfill our reading list diversity quotas for Instagram, but wait! Our highly scientific forensic focus groups keep reporting a massive issue: where are the men? There is no yaio in this book. How can I keep reading if I don't know who's the bottom and which Kpop idol he was based on?
Fear not! We have the solution for you. Our product, developed in labs, written at least partly by someone who can check off 20 DEI lists for you, solves the problem of lesbian stories with no men! In fact, it is a lesbian story with all men!
Definitely all man. For sure. 100%. Don't---don't read the blurb. Just pre-order Estro Junkies. Juicy, juicy lesbian yaio between men awaits. So many men who will stay men and date men and definitely, regularly talk about men, just as Bechdel intended.
Preorder now on Amazon, Itch, or other storefronts!
Hello, Tungler.
Are you a fan of Heated Rivalry, and want more books like it? Well, from a certain perspective, if you tilt your head and squint... look no further?
Try Estro Junkies, available now on Amazon, Itch, or other storefronts!
And look:
See? Hot ribaldry. Go check it out!
trans man here, with regards to 'its a failure of intersectionality to just call them men instead of trans men'. i've seen a big emphasis from some tguys about the importance of the trans label that personally i don't really vibe with. it's kind of invalidating tbh lol
basically, it comes across a lot like instead of being a man who happens to be trans, they emphasize being trans and distance us from cis men in a way that really comes across like they think being a trans guy is somewhere in between being a woman and being a 'real man'. a lot of dudes who make it obvious w/o saying it that they subconsciously don't think of themselves as 'real men'. t's kind of blatant internalized transphobia
i'm not saying that being a trans guy is exactly the same as being a cis guy, or trying to be invalidating here either, but after all the 'but i'm a /trans/ man' like we're a completely difference species from cis men, a lot of it centred around knowing what it's like to 'be a woman' from 'past experience', therefore surely we are more trustworthy than cis men and women shouldn't be as wary of us as they are of cis men, it just becomes kind of obvious that a lot of dudes see cis guys as so much higher above us. so you just end up with a bunch of tguys who just see themselves and women at the bottom while cis guys are at the top leading to this 'we are all experiencing the same level of oppression' stuff i guess.
it is interesting how often trans men seem to pull up their agab as like, a way of misrepresenting their place in a power dynamic. like it very much seems to rely on and reify the idea of... "afabs" being fragile and ineffectual
I think if cis men had a card to pull to go Actually I'm a Safe and Good Person they too would be pulling it all the time, and something tells me they would often be pulling it for the wrong reasons...!
like! there's no shortcut to being a safe person! I had an ask recently that was really trying to hammer home how I, being a human with a body, had a capacity to harm others. and like! yeah I know! believe it or not trans women are told this incessantly! daily! I think who really needs to be told that are people who cling to some aspect of their identity as a shorthand for "I'm a safe person." that goes double with people you have privilege over, such as trans women. you have to build trust by actually taking actions that inspire trust
with regards to the "if cis men had a Actually Im a Safe Person" thing, isnt that just what "Nice Guy" used to be?

Factorio once you've really gotten the automation to take off is like. You hit a task that the factory can't handle, and you go "huh" as you exit map view and suddenly can't reach everywhere inside the factory trivially, instead having to move your body around to get to the thing that needs doing. and it's like this slow, fragile thing that's nothing like controlling The Factory. And then once the task's dealt with you think about how to automate it as you return to the comfortable apotheosis of map view.
There's a point where the engineer stops feeling like "you" as the game transitions from direct building to construction/logistics bots and starts becoming more of a particularly versatile if really limited tool that you have at your disposal. But like. The engineer was never actually you though. It was always just an avatar you were controlling inside the game. The illusion just breaks down over time in this game.
A super important thing to know about Rashmi RCBG is that she's literally cute. Okay. She is cute.
PhDs in subjects that don't involve laboratory work should provide coats that look science-y anyway like. let me have a cool coat that says "this girl's brain is super big" even though they don't let me near the labs!!!
Bad faith invocation of "Well I have trauma so therefore trans women can't be allowed to be visible in public spaces" is actually my trigger, so checkmate.
I'm only partially facetious here. This shit was all over the parts of Twitter that degraded my mental health to the point of needing a long sick leave in my first year of transition. TERFs do this shit constantly.
Straight up I am not humoring requests for something as flagrantly nonsensical as forcefem to be proactively trigger tagged while trans women on this site are routinely called "dude" in replies addressed directly at them. Curate your own fucking feeds. Block the accounts whose content you can't handle. Simply stop reading the post when you catch on to what it's about, the words literally can't force you to read them. Do the work your fucking selves instead of foisting it on the minority group noted for constantly being shamed for daring to take up space.
Save Wadad's family, her daughter Najah, and her four children.
From the heart of Gaza, we reach out to you with deep pain and a plea for help… amelia romain needs your support for Help Wedad's family in
I am Waddad, I live in the war-torn Gaza City. My house was destroyed under the bombardment, and I had nothing left but memories and the pain of loss. We lived harsh days of fear and displacement, carrying our souls among the rubble in search of safety. In the midst of this tragedy, I lost my dear husband, whose news was interrupted a while ago due to displacement, and his fate is still unknown,
From the heart of Gaza, we reach out to you with deep pain and a plea for help… amelia romain needs your support for Help Wedad's family in
Because of the loss of my husband, I now live with my daughter Najah and she is a mother of four children, facing the harshness of life with patience and strength despite the severe suffering she went through because of the war. We lost our home and began to live with our children in a tent in the middle of the street, without security or stability. Her suffering was not limited to that, I also suffer my mother Wadad, who was disabled, who was exhausted by displacement and suffered from chronic diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure, which requires continuous treatment and care. Despite the harsh conditions, we are still trying with all our strength to provide food for our children and my mother, and seek urgent humanitarian support to meet their basic needs and provide the necessary treatment, clinging to the hope of a more dignified and safe life for all of them.
She never imagined finding herself in a situation that forced her to write these words, but life took an unexpected and destructive turn. Her family, consisting of my beloved husband and our four children - two daughters and two sons - is facing a crisis that we cannot overcome alone
We ask for help urgently because we can't do it alone. We need to rebuild not only our house, but our lives. Every donation, no matter how large, will be allocated directly to provide a safe place for our children to sleep, enough food for them, and a chance to hope again. We ask you, if you can help us in these difficult circumstances, to appoint us, and we will be grateful to you forever. Perhaps your generosity and generosity are the light that illuminates our paths in this darkness.
Please help me donate and share🙏
Thank you

FUTANARI DISCOURSE?
wait what
i was briefly caught off guard by the mention of "penised afabs"/ "woman acquires penis through magical means but no we swear she isn't trans" and was wondering if it was in reference to that, i think.
I super regret to inform you that penised AFABs are a reference to penised AFABs because this is an actual thing a TERF said in my fucking mentions all the way back on pre-Elon twitter
i'm gonna cry real human tears
The lore simply never stops getting worse, unfortunately
