I'm feeling Devious~
[A greek mythology/etm/pjo rp blog]
"I. HATE HER." She yelled, smashing a vase as she screamed into a pillow. She didn't mean to break anything, truly. But it just sort of came out. "I HATE THAT MANIPULATIVE WOMAN. I HATE HOW SHE TREATS MY FRIEND., I HATE HOW SHE CAN GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING BECAUSE OF HOW SHE WAS TREATED IN THE PAST. I HATE HOW PRETTY SHE IS. I AM JUST- I AM AT A LOSS FOR WORDS."
Despite being lost for words, Metis continued to yell for the next 45 minutes.
"That's nice, Lady Metis. Maybe that's enough wine for today..."
"I PROMISE YOU, IF I SEE THAT WOMAN AGAIN I'LL BE THE FIRST NYMPH TO MURDER A GODDESS." She groaned, tossing the pillow to the side as it was doing nothing to calm her mood. She was acting like a child, and she knew it. She was usually more composed than this, but gods, that Goddess just got under her skin.
Her hands shook as her glass of wine was taken away from her, slowly redirected to the table nearby.
"I'm beginning to understand why the Orphic deities tread away from Olympus." He nodded. If this was what true families acted like, he much preferred his life hidden away, serving the fates until he could no longer outrun his own.
"Maybe... do not plan to murder the queen of the gods? Not unless you want half of Olympus ready to attack you at a moment's notice."

(Zeus) I dont know. Dont you decide if the sky is blue or not? *Evil grin from microphone anon*
"The day you guys stop making me miserable is the day Metis has a son that kills me."
"...hey wait who's that guy in the bushes."
"..."
"And are you SURE you do not want to come to Olympus with me? Nothing bad will happen to you. It would also help to have someone else there."
"I'm... good. I'm just not really fond of Olympus."
"...okay. But come visit one day."
Is.. is she dead..?
"Why do I feel like someone has said that before."
"30th of August."
"What-"
"Alright, let's not stress about this. Athena's fine! She's gonna be fine..." she muttered as she held her daughter close to her. The armor made her incredibly heavy, but nothing a Goddess couldn't handle.
"She- She can't die. Goddesses can't die, and I refuse to allow my daughter to be the first."
SHE HUGGED HIM. ATHENA HUGGED HIM.
IM CRYINGGGG
"Yeah... uh, so am I." He mumbled to himself. Well, this was probably a moment he'd remember for the rest of his life.
become trans so you arent his son and then maybe he'll accept you/j
"Is that... how that works??? Like, I personally like the way my body is."
Tiny soft knocks are heard on the door
@colon-three-anon
Proméno opened the door lazily, already knowing who was there. His tired expression melted away as he looked at the small child with a smile. So this was Metis' other kid, huh? She was adorable to look at up close. "Morning, child. What is it you need?" Of course he knew what she needed, but he couldn't just say that.
Metis sat in the other room. The house wasn't exactly big, so she could easily hear everything that was going on in that moment. But she hadn't heard her child's voice yet, so how was she to know what waa going on?
Not that she cared, anyways. She was still a bit shaken up over... everything that happened.
The child looked up at the man
You remind me of mama! Do you know where she is?
He kept his smile formal. It was better to ignore that first part. The more you ignore the past, the later it will come to you. "You're looking for Lady Metis, correct?" He held the door open, waiting for the girl to walk in. "You can just come on in if you choose to do so. She should be here any-"
He could barely even finish the sentence before the door near them swung open, Metis staring at her daughter silently.
MAMA! I miss you!
At the sight of Metis she just started tearing up, it's been days since she ran away from Olympus to look for her
I look for you through light and dark time!
(@w1sd0ms-s0n not sure if you saw ^^')
Metis sniffled before walking over to her, kneeling and giving her daughter a hug. "I appreciate it so dearly, child. Thank you so much for worrying about me." She cried, wiping the tears building in her child's eyes. She knew Athena was probably worried, but she never expected that her youngest daughter would have searched for her.
"And I've missed you too..."
The child snuggled up to her and just began to cry, she was lost for days while trying to find Metis, somehow this little child found her without anyone being with her right now
"Shhhhh," She muttered, hugging her child softly. This poor girl. She was a child, completely abandoned by whatever parents chose to neglect her, and she ran away from Mount Olympus just so she could look for her. She had a hard time admitting it, but she'd grown fairly attached to the child in the past few weeks. "It's okay... I'm here now..."
She could feel Proméno stare at the two of them with an unreadable expression. But she just shrugged it off. She'd just ask him later.

Menstrual or whatever your name is
How do you feel watching your mother and sister hugging happily knowing that you'll never be able to be a part of their life?
"ProMÉNO. My name is Proméno," he sighed. What even was a menstrual? He tugged on the piece of gold string attached to his longest sleeve and tangled it in his hands, trying not to let the words get to him.
"It hurts a bit now that I've finally gotten to know my biological mother, yes. But... I'll survive. I have for eons, and I'll continue to do so for as long as I can avoid that stupid prophecy."
“MOTHER?! MOOMMM!!!” *Athena’s voice rang out. She’d been looking for so long, yelling so loud.. her voice had gone horse. She moved fast, her head hurting as she tried anything to find her, quick thought, flying (even though it was very painful.) she just needed to find her mom..*
“MoTHER PleASE!!” *Her voice cracked, her shield on her back and spear at the ready, using it as a walking stick. Her body shaking as she tried to not cry.* “She’ll be fine Athena.. we know it..” *She said to herself as she tried her quick thought again. She knew she was here somewhere she could feel her.*
“Mom..” *She croaked out holding onto her spear her scars burning as she pushed on, glowing a heady yellow and crackling with electricity.*
-those who know..
Proméno grabbed the basket of apples in his hands as he walked forward to all of the sudden noise he was hearing in his home. His eyes grew wide when he noticed Athena in the area. When was the last time he'd seen the Goddess again? Right, that time he needed to send a scroll to Dionysus. He put the basket down with a deep breath. The last thing he needed to do was piss of his sister the Wisdom Goddess
"Lady Athena." He called out, giving her a small bow out of respect, even if she couldn't see him from where they were standing. "What brings you to these lands?" He obviously knew. He could probably hear Athena yell of her mother all the way from Delphi.
*She was shaking. The burning was hurting. Really bad. Stress made it flair and crackle. She placed her helmet on before looking at him as she held her spear, the pain making her hands shake as she held it.* “I.. I’m looking for Metis.. my father did something wrong. He is going to apologize before I beat that bitch he calls a wife to a pulp..”
*She let a deep breath out. Her face still steadily burning. It looked bad.. really bad.. she didn’t have the energy to cover it with the makeup Aphrodite had given her and showed her how to use. The little white dots betrayed her feelings though as they shook and if he could see her face.. she would probably look like she was going to cry.*
“Please.. I just.. I just started to form my relationship with her.. I just.. I just need to find her.. I need to know she’s safe. Make them apologize for what they’ve done..”
"Ah."
He'd suspected Athena wouldn't exactly be on Zeus' side for what happened to Metis. It was good to know he finally had some confirmation on that theory. He looked back at the hidden door near them. Metis should still be inside the door. It's not like she's been leaving much thanks to the consistent storm that's been going on these last few days. He nodded, flicking his wrist and summoning the basket near him away.
"Alright- I know where Lady Metis is." His gaze followed once again to the door before his eyes rolled back to Athena. "She's honestly braver than I would be if I had been banished from Olympus. Holding up surprisingly well and what-not."
*Her eyes widened. She smiled under that helmet. He could hear the electric sound of her scars and as she smiled.* “You do..?” *Her voice cracked.* “Can I.. see her.. I’ve been looking for.. days..” *She sighed and stepped closer. She was never one to cram into people’s space but.. she needed her mother..*
“Please..” *She asked quietly, her voice finally cracking harshly from her yelling for.. 2? 3 days..?* “I just want to see my mother..”
He nodded once more, his face shifting into something akin to a sad smile. "Of course, Lady Athena." He walked over to the hidden door, opening it silently as he called out to Metis. "Your other daughter has come to see you." He explained, walking away from the door to let the wisdom Goddess out of the house.
Metis hurried outside, her eyes falling on Athena as she took a deep breath. She didn't seem to have changed much. At least, not from first glance. She seemed fine, just tired. "Athena..." she coughed out with a smile, walking towards her before giving her daughter a hug. She knew Athena didn't exactly like things like this, but she really needed to give her daughter a hug after these last few days.
“Mom..” *She hugged her back letting her helmet fall, to the floor, her body weak her spear dropping to the floor. Her face cracked with electrical shocks and she closed it. She smiled at her mother.* “Hera admitted she was a fucking liar, I want you to come home. I.. I can’t lose you to momma..”
*Her face was crackling and burning so much with electricity that it could be smelled. She couldn’t stop it and just had to bare the pain and hope her mom would come home.* “Please momma..”
"Hey- hey, I'm right here, dear." She managed to say between sniffles and sobs, trying to keep herself from not letting go of her amazing daughter. She wished she could go home, she really did. But Metis had no clue if Zeus would allow her to return after all that he'd accused her of. She also didn't know if she could stop herself from punching that cold-hearted, sad excuse for a queen in her beautiful, flawless, pale white face.
"I'll be back soon, I promise. I-I'll try and reach Zeus and Hera through Demeter. I'm sure she's not included in the ban, considering she spends most of her time here instead of on Olympus." She laughed at that last part. She let go, just so she could get a look at her daughter's face. Gods, she looked so hurt. But maybe it was best to focus on that later. "But I'm not going anywhere, Athena. I will always be able to promise you that."
“MOTHER?! MOOMMM!!!” *Athena’s voice rang out. She’d been looking for so long, yelling so loud.. her voice had gone horse. She moved fast, her head hurting as she tried anything to find her, quick thought, flying (even though it was very painful.) she just needed to find her mom..*
