The Sillies:

I'm trying to be mindful of their canon but I really enjoy headcanons too :'D That's why I made the separate blogs above!!

My native language is Polish, I consider my English to be on a pretty good level so that's the one I use here. I also know a tiny bit of German (but it's really just a tiny small bit)

although dio doesn't appear until very late in the lotus flower universe, i still wanted to make her a ref sheet to complete the holy silly quinity lol

i accidentally made her hair way too dark but its ok guys (also i'm sorry i went missing for a bit!! my partner came to my town recently and i've been jestering them lol)

out of the handful of words dio spits in about a week's time, very few have been about her past. it is assumed that she, herself, does not remember most of it – just that she was at a lab for a long time, was under the care of some evil people who are now running after her, that she is very, very ill, and that she likes the color blue.

renée herself only knows that one day, she found dio face-down on the sand of a seaside cave, covered in algae and hardened sea salt, nearly dead, and that she took them in and nursed them back to health like a baby bird. also like a baby bird, dio immediately ran away... but kept coming back from the food renée would set outside, never getting too close. after a while, dio warmed up a bit, and they'd go on adventures together, mostly to run away from whoever it was that what running after diomira... but one day, they got too close. dio trapped renée and ran away, to never be found again...

i wonder where she is now.

Do y'all think that characters from UT AUs have something like deja vu but worse?... (especially if previously exposed to the concept of the multiverse and travelling across it)

For example the dreams they have are actually really just the memories of other versions leaking through, they have pre-set emotions about some objects and people (for example a Palette who never met Due would still spot a Due in a crowd and stare at them for a little too long despite not knowing them at all), they can feel something is shifting sometimes when they make a decision, and there are ones who can predict what will happen or remember something they didn't go through (and sometimes don't even know those memories are not theirs)

Actually the reason I'm bringing this up is because I came up with this thing called Multiversal Overexposure Disease

It doesn't happen to everyone, it's more like a thing that CAN happen but doesn't have to and one of reasons why not everyone travels through multiverses all the time, a cautionary tale if you will. Ink detected a couple of times so he knows it exists, he hates it as it's incredibly hard to fix without getting too invasive and confusing. Outcodes are way less likely to experience it (they can but it's very rare) because they are already not attached to any AU, so they would have to do something like. Idk travelling between other Multiverses (so places where there can be another version of them) instead of just Universes to risk having it

What happens is basically the person who travels too much through AUs starts to "leak" through to the code of their other versions and gaining their memories, behavior etc.

Their presence in other places than their own AU and then coming back to it triggers a mechanism that is trying to match them to their version of the AU (think of it as generating a key with a string that connects you back to the correct version). It's a good mechanism to avoid confusion with other versions but it's not foolproof. Sometimes something during this process goes wrong so they are now connected to the codes of their other version or versions

The effects are mainly, like I mentioned, dreams that are actually either memories of what happened to other Yous or something that is actively happening to that other version while you're sleeping, false memories, false connections to people things and places, insane deja vu, ability to predict what will happen next, fatigue, problems with short term memory, trouble focusing. In extreme cases it can make it incredibly hard to distinguish between your own life and the lives of your other versions, it can lead to depersonalization and/or derealization, anxiety, depression and the likes

I know a similar concept was there with like, Sans remembering all timelines, but this time it has other causes and it's more focused on AUs and variants than timelines
