- the running in place chase scenes

- the majority of lauren’s roles being guys but she still sings in that impeccable soprano voice

- dylan’s. voice. and that’s that on that.

- the set and lighting designs of all of their shows

- costumes

- the puppets!!!!!

- the fact that they can make the dumbest ideas into incredibly beautiful shows

Okay, let’s take a moment to get a bit serious, please.  So, as a whole, the Starkid fandom is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever had the pleasure of being a part of. But, there are some things I think we need a quick refresher on, so I just thought let’s go through all of them, shall we? (also, I know that everyone slips up, and I know that if you go back to a few months ago, you could probably accuse me of one or two of these, but people grow, and realize things that should just be known. This list is just a little reminder because I know we all need one sometimes, including myself. I love you all so don’t worry, I’m not trying to be accusatory or rude, this is just a reminder.)

1. THEY ARE HUMAN BEINGS!!! JUST LIKE YOU!! 

2. DO NOT GO TO THEIR PLACE OF WORK AND ASK FOR THEM (ESPECIALLY ALL YOU TALKING ABOUT ROBERT (I love you still, but we all need to chill a bit)) HE JUST WANTS TO HAVE FUN AND GET PAID AND IF SOME CREEPY FANS COME UP TO HIM, THAT’S A BIT WEIRD, SO JUST DON’T.

3. DON’T THREATEN TO DO ANYTHING HARMFUL TO YOURSELF OR OTHERS JUST BECAUSE ONE OF THE STARKIDS WON’T DO SOMETHING YOU WANT THEM TO DO

4. THEY ARE HUMAN BEINGS!!! JUST LIKE YOU!!

5. DON’T WRITE FAN-FICS ABOUT THE ACTUAL PEOPLE THEY ARE! IF IT’S ONE OF THEIR CHARACTERS, THAT’S STILL A BIT AWKWARD I’D ASSUME, BUT AT LEAST IT’S NOT ABOUT THEM

6. DO NOT HARASS ANY OF THE MEMBERS, ABOUT ANYTHING, ANYWHERE.
