Hopefully this doesn't turn into a bummer post but:
PLURAL PEOPLE WHO ARE PLURALPOLLS FOLLOWERS: What is your opinion on endogenic plurality?
We're traumagenic, endo positive
we're traumagenic, endo neutral
we're traumagenic, endo negative
we're mixed origins, endo positive
we're mixed origins, endo neutral
we're mixed origins, endo negative
we're endogenic, endo positive
we're endogenic, endo neutral
we're endogenic, endo negative
None of the above. While we were born plural, the label of endogenic is not a great one. It specifically originated as a way to cede ground to medicalists, and a lot of ostensibly pro-endogenic arguments are still very medicalist in nature. Like, there's that whole "endogenic proof" doc and, IMO, it's downright dehumanizing and abusive to demand "proof" of somebody's existence rather than just listen to their lived experiences (and a bit dehumanizing to offer said "proof" too). Also, calling and endogenic plural an "endo" sounds to me just like calling a transgender person a "tran," which is probably not an unfounded concern considering the tone that "endo" is often used with.
source on "endogenic" being ground-ceding
I don't fw "endo neutral" mfs btw. You can't be neutral on someone's existence. How the fuck are you neutral on if someone exists or not. That's not how that works. You either think they exist or you don't it's really fucking simple.
can someone explain to me wth is a endo?? I hear a lot of people are against them, espesically for systems. - 𖤓
"Endo" is a clipping of the phrase "endogenic system." Around August 2014, some folks on tumblr decided that, if you used the plural identity framework without claiming that it was caused by trauma, you're an ableist appropriator. They did this even though the sorts of plurals we now call endogenic have been vital parts of the plural community from the start. In response, this one system took their claims at face value and made a new word to avoid this supposed appropriation: endogenous. This became endogenic.
It's a bit more complicated than that, but that's the jist. If you want some more context, you can go back to the beginning of the history I linked.

How do I know if I'm a therian?
I've been wondering lately if I'm a therian, otherhearted, or something else. I don't want to claim I'm a therian if it turns out I'm just misunderstanding the term, but I get conflicting answers everywhere I look for a solid definition. I don't really get what it means to "involuntarily identify as a non-human animal" which is a commonly listed requirement, since I know that I was born a human and I have a human body/brain, etc. I've always been fascinated with flight, and I somewhat frequently feel this sense of longing to be something more avian, but I can't tell if this is just WANTING to be a bird or something more essential to my identity. I like to think of my bed as a nest and I love wearing anything that even vaguely resembles wings/feathers, almost like gender euphoria but different I think. I love it when people portray me as a crow (sometimes when my artist friend draws our friend group they just draw me as a crow since they know I really like crows) but I don't know if this means I'm a therian or if I just really like crows. I frequently think about what it would be like to be a crow, and I love playing video games where you get to be a bird. I also frequently wear ponchos/shawls because it kinda mimics wings in a way, and want to make my own poncho at some point that looks like feathers
Do any therians relate to this or does it seem like something else? Please give me good places to look for more detailed definitions and explanations of this type of thing, and feel free to ask me any clarifying questions if it would help with your conclusion about this.
First of all, only you are able to know whether you are a therian or not. It is impossible for other people to determine that for you.
Now, detailed explanations about therianthropy
Ask four therians what therianthropy means and you'll get five answers. Even the "identifies as a nonhuman animal" definition, which is the most basic one commonly given, isn't the only basic definition. For some people, it's more about the animalistic experiences than about the identity.
For us, being therian and being otherkin means that, when we say we are our species, it's not just a game or a joke, it's communicating something very important about ourselves. It's about having these animalistic or past life experiences, or this yearning, or this dysphoria, or this drive for Magic, or this brainweirdness, or the million other things that make us nonhuman... and finding community with others in those shared experiences. It's like when we, being transgender, say what our gender is: not a game or a joke, something vital.
There's a saying, among some trans folk (both gender and species), that wanting to be something is a sign of being that. Ultimately, you are experiencing these bird feelings and this desire to be a bird, but whether that makes you a bird or not is up to you.
Here's the Otherkin Wiki article about therianthropy. I recommend, if you want to dig deeper, clicking on some of the references at the bottom of the page, as well as some of the links posted in the discussion tab (at the top).
Therianthropes, also known as therians, are individuals who identify either as an animal species that exists or has existed on Earth, or as
im not even sure if i count as otherkin - i made a wish to become my kintype, and i only started shifting after that. but i also dont really know if it can be called voluntary because im not sure if i could go back if i wanted to. i just have no idea whats going on

What would you do, anon, if people said no? If they refused to count you? How would you respond?
Asking all alterhumans on tumblr, is it possible to feel like a Capricorn? Like the half fish half goat, sea goat. I just need to check smth.🧍
What would you do if people said no? Would you trust strangers on the Internet that your feelings are not real, or would you trust yourself?

ALSO is there a term for when you identify as some/most of a species/family but not all? like some dogs but not all, most horses but not all, etc etc? i feel like there is but i can’t remember what it is
It's called cladotherian :3
cladotherianthropy is when one identifies as the ENTIRE clade, not most or some, so… no..?
No, not necessarily! :)
Cladotherianthropy isn't about a list of species so much as it is about the clade itself. So some cladotherians do specifically identify as all members of their clade, but a lot don't!
Cladotherians are therians whose identity encompasses an entire species taxon, rather than just a single species. The taxon can be as specif
