In this Dec. 26, 1940 picture, Iroquois Indians who were born in Canada march through the main street of Buffalo, N.Y., carrying signs protesting that the U.S. pilgrim fathers were not required to be fingerprinted. I’ll never understand vegetarian/vegan “elitism” like shaming a stranger or acquaintance for eating animals or animal by-products. like yes of course the meat/dairy/egg/etc industry is harmful to so many animals but not everyone can afford to be or wants to be vegan. if someone is trying to cut back on animal products or is trying out meatless mondays, good for them! don’t shame them by saying they should be doing more. the same goes for someone who doesn’t plan on cutting meat out of their diet any time soon. if they stay out of your business, stay out of theirs and vice versa. it’s truly not a hard concept
