Welcome to the waiting room!

This blog is run by a chronically ill system with too many "Project Sekai" disability headcanons. Please feel free to submit headcanons through asks or submissions!

Acceptable submissions can look like anything; it can be "x has y disorder", "x uses y mobility aid", "do you have headcanons for x character?", "do you have headcanons for y condition?"- you get it.

All I ask is that you be decent! The nurse (me!) is always tired and in pain, and I will just block and delete hate.

Important: I am running this on a queue so it can still run even when my spoons are gone. Also, a lot of my own headcanons are projection, so feel free to project with me! This isn't Project Sekai, it's Project Sekai- never mind, that doesn't really work in text...

Edit: submissions tend to come in daily, so if you stop seeing original Waiting Room Sekai content, that's why! I generally only break this pattern if the requested headcanon is already in queue for whatever reason.

... Okay I might have to elaborate, hold on. I don't read Miku stories, these just feel right to me- so they might be totally wrong! Feel free to disagree and we can talk.

Classic Miku: OCPD. I've read that this is actually one of the more common personality disorders, and having been in the fandom for more than a decade, I can say that a Miku with very internal feelings about perfection and needing to be perfect is kinda fitting for this semi-workaholic 'loid. WonderlandsxShowtime Miku: BPD and near CONSTANTLY in a euphoric episode. Like everything is SO FUN and SO ENERGETIC all of the time and she just HAS TO do the most FUN thing at ANY moment andthenshecrashesandhastocryintotheplushiesforafewhours... Vivid BAD Squad Miku: NPD. I cannot prove it, but can you prove me wrong? Exactly. 25ji, Nightcord de Miku: AvPD. I feel like a LOT of the Empty!Vocaloids are AvPD, though, because it's a reflection of Kanade's truest feelings. More More JUMP! Miku: HPD, and gets her attention supply by being onstage and spreading positivity to the group. Leo/Need Miku: DPD. Prove me wrong. I have other headcanons about this particular case, but I'd have to learn a little more about DPD before I say anything with confidence.

Also, I think that Leo/Need Miku is a Maladaptive Daydreamer (MDD) and that More More JUMP Miku has a little bit of Depersonalization/Dereality (DPDR). I cannot prove either of these, but they make sense to me.

Also, I really want to do more for non-OSDDID dissociative disorders and less commonly recognized disorders like MDD. I really feel like we've fallen back into the idea of, "just because it made rounds on TikTok, it's not real or valid," which isn't fair. MDD is a valid experience and I wish all people struggling with MDD a very kind and understanding care team.

tsukasa has EDS, anaemia, and raynaud's. he wears compression garments, sometimes uses braces for various joints, and uses a cane. his symptoms are less severe than saki and he also tends to downplay his chronic pain.

also on the brain side of things he got autism adhd and bpd. tsukasa the most cluster b ever

Tsukasa Tenma has Ehlers–Danlos Syndrome, anemia, and Raynaud's Syndrome! He wears compression garments, sometimes uses various types of joint braces, and has a cane as a mobility aid! He does downplay his chronic pain, though (boo! Don't do that, Tsukasa! That's bad for you and your pain is valid!)! He also has autism, ADHD, and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)!

I had a dream where Shiho and Nene were forearm crutch users and that has not left my mind. I also adopted the "mizuki cane user" hc after seeing mistaking an umbrella for a cane.

I feel like Shiho would ask Mizuki for cute but VERY SMALL stickers. Nene would get all of hers from Emu.
