hello!
this user is a @walkingtalkinglibrary, but it doesn't mean i read a lot of books. it's more to signify a chaos of interest i have in books, TV, movies, art, webcomics and more. A little about me so you know who you are following
Name: *redacted*
MBTI: ENFJ ✨
Family: Parents <3 and 2 sisters <3
Aspiration: I just want to write and draw hopeful, cozy things for a living. 9-5 terrifies me, so I am trying to do everything to not end up there. I recently got into copywriting, and I believe I could do well in it. I am also a philosophical bore, and would not mind ending up in part time research jobs. My main aspiration is to have a good day with my loved ones. 🍄 😊
Why am I here? Tumblr is probably my favorite social media along with Pinterest. I was, and still sort of am, on Meta for a long time, but I am losing the interest being there. I met cool people over there too, but people get busy. We all do. I have been using Tumblr for a while now, and here the tags actually work 😂. It would be nice to find a community online for someone who could not do a lot of socializing IRL. and I learn so much from you guys!!
Education: I am currently in college, majoring in International Relations. 🌍 I am in my third year, and so far I have learned about foreign policy, ethics and morality in IR, governance, history, gender and development, etc. my studyblr: @governancestudyblr
Why I like TV/books/movies/webcomic: I think I look not for a sense of escape but rather I look for a sense of resilience through fiction. My watch is usually slice of life or sitcoms, and I take a thing or two from their sort of relatable lives. If I have an example, it is how watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine has helped me become a better listener to my loved ones, which I learned by watching Captain Holt taking responsibility for his mistakes. I am currently reading The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity, which is a slice of life manga. 🌺
Faith: Islam. I try to practice as much as I can from my religion. I am born into a Muslim family, but as I grew up, I had to find Islam on my own. I believe everyone's take on religion should be based on a deeper reflection of themselves and the world that surrounds them. My faith more than fiction helps me live the life I am blessed with, instead of surviving. I find peace in surrendering to God. Some of the posts I intend to make is to bust some myths about Islam and Muslims, and help out with writing Muslim characters. 🌙
Aesthetic: I don't really live by one. I love several ones, but usually my themes always find a darker shade or topic to work with.
Thank you for reading! Welcome to my blog~
