Made this cup after listening to my Uncle Chip's teaching on the 7 Feast Days. The Holy Spirit placed it in my hands and here is the final product. We are all called to be like the barley. Barley is the first crop to be ready during the harvest following the wheat and other crops. The barley's shell could easily come off with a simple shaking in the wind. We are called to not feed into the desires of the flesh (barley's shell) and live in the spirit. "I say then, walk by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. ~ Galatians 5:16" We see barley in different parts of the Bible. We see that Jesus even fed the multitudes at the time of Passover with five BARLEY loaves and two fish and even had extra left over. The first to be chosen from the crop to be with Him will be Yeshua's first harvest, His barley, His Bride! Don't live to please this world or the desires of the flesh. Be guided by the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) and you'll begin to see the great work He'll do within your heart and in your life.

Praying with the right motives.

Have you taken a moment to realize the manner in which you pray? So often we keep the eyes on ourselves while asking God for a million things without once asking Him what can we do for Him? He's not a genie in a bottle ready to cast every desire that we hold. He has gifts for each of us but our Father loves when His children bring Him gifts as well. Our gifts may be our endless hunger to serve Him, bringing others closer to His Kingdom or even our continuous gratitude for every circumstance He places before us. Many ear-tickling churches today make us focus on ourselves and how God can make us happier, but so few show us how to serve Him with a genuine heart. So few churches reveal to us the truths of Satan's schemes to lead you into such egotistical thinking. As a living testimony, I must say a life serving Adonai is filled with more eternal happiness than the temporary joys that have been used to fill my past ego. I ask the Holy Spirit to fill your hearts with a willingness to serve and walk with Yeshua in a humbled way.
