I'm the Sandman, or Sandy. I'm the guardian of dreams! Every night I travel across the world to bring you all your nighttime fantasies. I gave up my voice so that I'd never wake up the sleeping children I visit, so it might take some time to fully understand my strange way of communicating.

Sandy heard a soft voice calling him to wake up from his slumber, telling him he'd been asleep too long. Sighing, the little guardian opened his eyes with the tiniest bit of annoyance, and looked up the moon. 

I guess there's work to be done then?

He looked around and saw his threads of golden sand seemed to be doing their work undisturbed. Then why did the Man in the Moon wake him so urgently?
