self care can sometimes be a tricky topic- sometimes, self care is sitting on the couch with a pint of ice cream and rewatching old sitcoms and taking a mental and physical break from life and the rest of the world. however, if this is how you live your day to day life, then it isn’t self care anymore. self care is doing what your mind and body need to be healthy and well, and sometimes that isn’t the easiest thing. sometimes self care is getting out of bed instead of sleeping all day. sometimes it’s getting off the couch and going for a walk instead of sitting there and eating ice cream. self care shouldn’t be used to describe something once it becomes negative, or once it is done enough to be negative. self care isn’t the same for every person, and it isn’t always easy.
