The yellow sign of that which seeks a way to come inside your home. Used as protection against putrid thoughts, shaped and whispered from afar.
To keep at bay those who seek to control you.
Hey does anyone know where I can find information on Galdr (not Galdrbók) rune song spells? Singing the runes and such. Book recs or PDFs or any source really would be wonderful.

Due to S. Flowers (a.k.a.E.Thorson) book, “Galdrabok” Many new (and some adept) Heathens think to Galdr means to simply chant the runes! I c

I am locked down in my & my boyfriend apartment. I don’t have my runes with me. That’s bad, because if I knew I had to stay away from them for a long time, I would have totally bring them with me.
So. This lockdown is putting me in a bad state of mind. In normal circumstances I would have read my runes. But, ofc, I can’t.
Tonight I had a nightmare. It was a normal Dream, actually, but it had a lot of stuff that lately haunted my head (not being enough: enough good, enough pretty. My need of approval, a sense of jealousy for people I like but I found more “everything” than me. My ex friend and how I miss her but also how I am angry at her and I want her fine from my life)
In this dream, I went up to a little place where stones, tarots and runes were selled.
I saw three runes (there was my favorite too).
So this morning I consulted the runemal (I use that one for interpreting my divinations). … And they were not just random runes. They told me stuff. Also, the fact that I saw them in a nightmare that had everything that scares me lately, make the read stronger.
… It was…big. A really big sensation. I am so grateful.
You can always tear up pieces of paper and write your runes on them and use those in a pinch
Kinda late in the month, but happy Goa. This is the 18th of Goa, but Friday 13th. This day would be thors day due to the rune it fell on in the old viking calendar, but in the Gregorian calendar it is a Friday (freya / Frikka) so why not both?!
Anywho hello to all my new followers and here is a tree with the runic calendar of Goa I sketched out for this month. Feel free to ask any questions you have about the calendars and stay tuned for more...

Goyim have no say in Jewish matters.
This includes:
• How the Holocaust should be discussed
• How similar Judaism and Christianity are (they aren’t, stop following me for posting Jewish content/posting in the jumblr tag with your bad opinions)
• Wether or not Ashkenazim are white
• Wether or not Lilith is a Jewish figure or not (she is, stop trying to twist it)
• anything about the Kabbalah
• anything about using the Tetragrammaton in magic
• anything about how Jewish witches should act (looking at you, person who said that Jewish witches needed to drop a Torah on the floor, step on it, and spit on it to be a witch)
You lack the cultural context or knowledge to discuss any of these things. I am not accepting criticism from any goyim have a nice day

Creating galdrastafur
Do you know how you must cut [them]?
Do you know how you must interpret?
Do you know how you must colour?
Do you know how you must try?
Do you know how you must invoke?
Do you know how you must sacrifice?
Do you know how you must send?
Do you know how you must kill?
Whenever someone asks me how to get started on creating galdrastafur I always think of this poem from the Havamal. Odin in here gives you the starting point. First learn the elder futhark until you understand the meanings and names and then learn the younger.
Vikings did not use the elder futhark. They used the younger. For divination they used the younger futhark and for galdr they used the younger futhark. Viking aged magickal texts use the younger futhark.
You then study the terminal staves and their meaning. How they were used in galdrastafur creation by viewing old manuscripts like the galdrabók skuggis skreed and the like. You can find some of these on galdrastafir.org
You will need to study older manuscripts in order to see how they were used back then. What types of woods? What metals? What taufr? This takes years to develop so don't feel frustrated. I have been on the Norse path for more than 25 years. Start by learning the futhark and create your own runes. Sacrifice to them and learn more about them.
