When I really don't want to do my school work I start using Spock as motivation and it works surprisingly well. Don't want to do calculus? Spock took that class too, and he'd tell you that it's illogical to further procrastinate completion of the assignment

Something I noticed about Vulcan names that was later kinda confirmed by a post I found, is that, often guys will have their names start and end with SP (Spock, Sarek, Surak, etc) and girls have names starting with T’ (T’Pring, T’Pau). T’ in Vulcan means “of”, so you can easily name a female presenting oc following this rule (for example T’Yel, which would mean “of the star-s”).

For my own ocs, I wanted a more Vulcan name for a guy and a Terran one for a girl (both spirk kids created for a fic). I went for Syel for the guy, because S’ means “from” in Vulcan and “yel” star-s, and left the K at the end out, because I thought spirk wouldn’t exactly conform to more traditional naming. I considered Karik as a name (meaning “strong” in Vulcan) but feel it doesn’t quite fit my oc’s spirit?

Now I’m looking for a Terran girl name that would possibly link back to spirk? I can’t use Amanda because I’ve read a fic once where that was the name of their kid, and I don’t want to be stealing. Also, as “finding a random baby/seeing your kids from the future” is a pretty common trope, I’m searching for uncommon names. If any of you have ideas, thanks!
