AU Ideas (my RP wishlist)
This is a compilation of AU ideas and plots that I would like to explore. I’ll probably be editing this constantly, adding more ideas and such. If you find any of these interesting and would like to have your muse involved, don’t hesitate to send me an IM (even if we’re not mutuals)! I’d love to get to write these with you! Model AU
AU in which Ryou is a model. Muse B is either a photographer, make-up/hair artist, designer, another model or someone else in the industry.
Catacombs AU
AU in which Ryou lives in Paris and is a cataphile, which means he enjoys exploring the off-limits sections of the catacombs. He sometimes can be convinced to offer tours to people who don’t look like psychos, are willing to pay a fee and don’t fear following him into the dark underground tunnels. Muse B is looking for something new and thrilling to do in Paris.
Variation #1: Ryou lives in Paris and does make money out of giving tours through the catacombs, but there is somethig off about him. He is also part of a cult that gathers at the off limits sections of the catacoms to carry out rituals. He roams the nightclubs at nights to find victims to bring down to the catacombs. Muse B could be a potential victim, a tourist, or another cultist (keeping him involved through threats?)
Winged AU
AU in which Ryou is half angel, half demon (Change of Heart kind of thing), has been captured and is being held captive at a freak show. Muse B could be another creature in the same situation, the owner of the freak show or a human spectator.
Variation #1: Ryou is an angel who wanders the human realm and whose purpose is to comfront and seal away dark creaturess/entities that might threaten humans. Sort of like a guardian angel that fights beings of darkness.
Psychiatric Hospital AU
AU in which Ryou is a patient at a psychiatric hospital, kept there because of his ability to see and hear ghosts. Of course no one believes him and he’s just treated as an insane person. Muse B is a doctor/nurse/staff there.
Variation #1: Muse B is another patient (maybe infamously dangerous but seems to behave around Ryou?).
Actors AU
AU in which both Ryou and muse B are professional actors currently working together on the same TV show/drama/movie. They’re each other’s lover/love interest in the show, but the line between acting and real life starts becoming blurry.
Merman AU
AU in which Ryou is a merman while muse B is human.
Variation #1: Muse B catches Ryou witth intentions of selling him for a lot of money, but ends up changing his mind after they grow close against all odds.
Variation #2: Muse B is saved from drowning by Ryou. Muse B asks how he can repay him and Ryou asks that Muse B gives him a tour around the city (Ryou temporarily gets legs).
Cam boy AU
AU in which Ryou makes money by being a cam boy, selling sexy pictures, videos and livestreams. He never shows his face though. Muse B is a regular customer. One day, during a stream, Ryou’s face accidentally comes into view, and some time later, Muse B recognizes Ryou.
Variations: turns out they live in the same building/work in the same place or area/go to the same gym/etc.
Note: this particular one would involve mature themes
Hanahaki disease AU
AU in which Ryou suffers of a rare disease that consist of coughing up flowers in consequence of experiencing one-sided love. The flowers growing inside the body can be surgically removed, but if this is done, the feelings of love also disappear. This condition can also be cured if the victim’s love is reciprocated. Muse B is the object of Ryou’s affection.

Ancient Egypt AU
Dancer Ryou.
Stalker AU
Variation #1: College/University setting. Ryou is a regular student and starts getting mysterious notes and pictures (of him or things related to him) sent by muse B, who is following and observing him from the distance. Muse B could be another student or a staff member.
Variation #2: Coffee shop or bookstore setting (these are Ryou’s jobs in his main verse). Very similar to variation#1 but muse B is now a customer of either of the places.
Vampire AU
Variation #1: Ryou has recently been turned by muse B to be their companion.
Variation #2: Blood slave Ryou.
Arranged marriage AU
Variation #1 (Ex-lovers): Ryou and muse B used to be lovers some time prior to the point where their families arranged them to get married. Their past relationship didn’t end well, possibly with one of them ending up broken-hearted. They didn’t speak after the break-up, but now they are stuck together with a lot of unresolved tension. (whatever caused the breakup is open for discussion).
Variation #2 (Affair): Either Ryou or muse B is married to someone he doesn’t love but cannot leave because of a family arrangement. He is however in love with the other muse (again either Ryou or muse B depending on who is the married one) and they are secret lovers.
Host Club AU
Host/customer dynamic.
Night Club AU
Variation #1: Bartender Ryou.
Variation #2: Go-go/cage/pole dancer Ryou.
