      “What the hell is a PIDGEY? A pigeon is a bird, not… Whatever the heck YOU’RE calling it,” yeah, it was probably best not dwell on something so trivial. For all he knew, this could have been a giant culture shock for her, and he just looked like a MASSIVE jerk about it. 

     He instead decided to just let out a defeated sigh, arms still folded over his chest as he averted his gaze to a nearby skyscraper. 

     “Well, whatever. I guess you can probably find a city map or something if you look around enough. It’s a big city, but it can’t be THAT hard to find an apartment complex SOMEWHERE. That’s, like, a staple of big cities, right?”

“’Can’t be that hard?’ You must live out in the sticks somewhere, guy. Try finding the hotel you’re supposed to be staying at in a place like Luminose City. You’ll be lucky if you don’t end up a town over with seven pastries you don’t even know how you got.”

As much as she grumbled, though, she admitted to herself that the stranger had a point. Though this place was big and entirely foreign, there had to be a map around somewhere. Or, at the very least, someone that was actually willing to give her the time of day and a set of verbal directions. One thing was for certain: she didn’t feel like sticking around on the street for the rest of the night. She wasn’t sure she wouldn’t catch tetanus just looking at one of the stairwells that climbed along the sides of the buildings around them, much less sleeping on one.

“Anyway, I might as well start looking,” she said as she passed by him, careful to give him a wide-enough berth not to hit him with her flame. “Not like I particularly care, but you gonna make it by yourself? This place doesn’t look like it cares for strangers too much and you’re kinda scrawny-looking for a human.”

Sturm had nothing to gain from picking fights with people for no reason. While she wouldn’t hesitate to inflict violence upon those deserving, or upon any targets given to her as a part of her work, it was too much of a hassle to stir up that much trouble.

“Whatever.” A one-word reply. Not that she was the type to chatter on regardless. It was best for those in her profession not to get needlessly mixed up with others, so she didn’t usually chatter or try to make friends. One day’s friend could be the next’s target after all.

“If you don’t want any trouble you should stay out of places like this. Others might not be as nice as I am.”

“’Nice.’ Right... I’m sure the unconscious guy on the ground there will agree you’re real swell once he comes to.”

Honestly, Kidd was genuinely surprised she was so willing to let her pass unabused. The guy on the ground didn’t look like a slouch; in fact, it looked like he probably had at least two feet on the woman standing over him as though someone had interrupted her in the middle of beating the dust out of a rug. That said a lot about her just from a glance.

Surprisingly enough, Kidd loves to sing. She’ll hum when she’s lost in thought and thinks no one is around. She might not be all that spectacular at it, but she can carry a decent tune.

What about nature do they find calming? What about nature do they find disagreeable?

I’m going to assume this is referring to outside nature. Typically, sitting outside in the middle of a good, strong wind will calm Kidd down. She likes the feel of the air when it’s going around like that. Rain puts a bit of a damper on her in more ways than one. She finds it kind of miserable overall, and it doesn’t help her tail flame in the least. She tends to get moodier during steady, gloomy rain.

Usually to flip said giver off. She doesn’t take well to it, especially if she doesn’t agree with what’s being asked of her. In most cases, she’ll just outright ignore it, but there have been a few instances in the past where it’s led to altercations.

The thought of her father being in danger because of something she’s done genuinely makes Kidd sick to her stomach. He’s very dear to her and she holds him in high regard, so him being in danger because she screwed up will just completely break her down.
