A bit about me!! I am a 19 year old sophomore in college, currently majoring in psychology with a minor in theatre! I want to be able to become a clinical sexologist to research paraphilic disorders and act in a bunch of plays while I'm at it! I also have an interest in voice acting as well. Some of my hobbies include drawing, reading, writing, video games, and going outside!

Some of the things I enjoy doing is understanding the cause of paraphilic disorders, how to help reduce the harm, and better understand what they need to be better.

Under NO CIRCUMSTANCE should you discourage anyone, attack anyone's intellectual abilities or make fun of their career choice in college/high school, no matter how odd it may seem. Of course I don't allow any type of hate speech against any minority, and I would love if you refrain from using slurs in my comments EVEN IF YOU CAN SAY THEM!! Cursing I don't care for.

With that out the way, I DO encourage you guys to ask me questions on school life, studying, and exam tips. I, unfortunately, cannot aid in theatre related question because I haven't been in a single show and only took two acting courses...

The hard part about trying to stay on top of school work when you went all of high school doing the bare minimum and still passing is understanding what you limits are when you study. Like, how long can I study for before I get tired? Do I prefer to study/do school work before of after work? What helps me retain information more and what makes me retain less? This is so important for college students to know about themselves, hell even those in the workforce.

I discovered that I don't like studying after work because I feel tired, so I have to wake up early enough to get at least an hour of studying in before work (if I work from 3pm-9pm), but I can study/do homework if I work the morning shift (like 8am-4pm) since I can take a 30 min-1 hour nap and wake up energized to work!

For studying, I think the length for how long I can study for greatly depends on the task and subject! If I really enjoy the topic (theatre, psychology, physics, law and ELA) I can do work on it for HOURS!!! But topics that are less fun or interesting to me (anatomy, speech, math) I can only work for 1 to 2 hours, before I burn out...

However I do well at retaining information if I do commentary on it or relate to am interest of mine (or even incorporating the topic into jokes if I can). Something seems funny to me? Point it out and ponder what's funny about it! Something appears as strange? Talk about what's strange about it and figure out how to make the topic less foreign! You could also treat it as a podcast or a stream you're doing. I like to pretend I'm interacting with chat when I'm doing or reviewing work.

Anywho! Find out what works for you guys so you can flourish in both academics and work!! ૮₍´｡ᵔ ꈊ ᵔ｡`₎ა

Ough... having a job and being a college student is not fun😓. I only have one class for the summer and I already feel as though I have a crao ton of work to do and little time to indulge in hobbies, but I'm finding that work-life balance one day at a time.

My sanity isn't too low though since I be watching Vtubers while I do work ૮₍´｡ᵔ ꈊ ᵔ｡`₎ა

Funny thing, I ended up not doing work for two days instead of one, but I finished today!! I did a practice test that my professor made available to us and did good on the second try (5/8 the first try)! I'm going to take the actual test tomorrow after work since it closes at 11pm and I don't get off till 7pm!

I'm also trying to fix my sleep schedule so I can wake up in the morning instead of 12pm, so let see how that goes!

I NEED TO TAKE MY OWN ADVICE GAAHHH!! My mental health is deteriorating ueueueue... If you guys ever feel like this, take a break (depending on how sad or upset you feel, 1 to 3 days to yourself, if possible, should be enough). I feel I only need a day to myself so after I come back from work, I'm gonna game all day!!

If you need any ideas for break days, here are a few that I do!:

Pick up a new hobby (I picked up coding VNs again!)

Walk downtown (this might not be too exciting if you already live in a city...)

Hang out with friends!

Read tags on AO3 you never heard of or read before (be very VERY cautious and do research if you never heard of any terms... don't end up like me [shiver])

Doing some note taking ૮⍝• ᴥ •⍝ა!! I currently don't have my own desk yet so I study in bed (I will not study in my dining room•••).

This is a sanitation class, do I need it for psych or Theatre... no... do I need the credits... yes!

I hate the feeling of studying alone so I use Gogh ૮₍´｡ᵔ ꈊ ᵔ｡`₎ა♡! I might join a lobby for the remainder of chapter one though!

Also yes yes I am a fan of many things such as Vtubers and Lupin III... They consume my everyday life LOLOL

Goals for spring!

Finally registered for my online class (thankfully only one, I just need to make up two credits LOL), so I am going to make a fairly short list of goals!

GOALS

Get a B or higher

Audition into a play (?)

Not too many goals which is good! It won't be overwhelming! Although, the play I want audition for might not fit into my schedule when it comes to rehearsals (only info is that it's during August), so the play may not be feasible, but we'll see!
