I hope so? I don’t get the point of Sira and the undead night elves being a thing at all. Who wanted that? It makes the Night Elves look fickle and muddies the whole turning people undead and Elune thing. Like Derek is his same self as undead but Sira instantly fights for the Horde? We just get some dead night elves instead of maybe featuring some Skelly-brand Forsaken?
I don’t find dead nelves interesting at all and I hate that they exist almost as much as I hate Warcraft’s Baby Nut, Zekhan

zekhan and talanji end up working together to save bwonsamdi (!!!!!)

my thoughts on the 8.3 quest line
Real talk though, everyone in SI:7 is a really shitty spy and I dunno how they get any respect.
cataclysm rolls around. SI:7 is involved in twilight highlands. Shaw tells you to go recover a key and then use the four agents he's given you to go open a giant gate. the gate has no key hole so his agents just blow open the door and you wonder why no one checked if you actually needed a key.
you say bye to shaw for a while before being tasked with going with like twenty agents to the top of the mountain. and you watch all of these agents, upon seeing cho'gall, unstealth and run towards him like the worst rogues in the world and die instantly. you, having watched all this, just goes up the mountain, unstealthed, and go tell shaw "yeah all your agents carked it in the dumbest way possible for rogues"
pandaria rolls around. three SI:7 agents were tasked with rescuing the prince from a mysterious and dangerous land. they're stopped by him saying no and mind controlling just one of them.
legion comes. the master of all spies ever (most likely a self proclaimed title) Mathias Shaw gets captured and impersonated by a dreadlord and the entirety of SI:7 doesn't even notice. an adventurer rendered Enemy of the Alliance for Daring to go against fake Shaw has to go rescue him and fight the fake Shaw to the death.
legion ending cinematic. Shaw gives Anduin a rock. Anduin asks what it is. the man who's job is arguably to know things the horde is doing says he doesn't know despite watching the horde go after it.
i think there's a book where the alliance royally fucks up because si:7 got their intel from a dead man and an orc acting out a fake fight in the middle of the horde capital and they went "well that's good enough information for us" but i haven't read it.
bfa is here. the alliance army hires a pirate to do a very important mission that cannot be fucked up. presumably because all the other better spies are dead.
tl;dr: Shaw is the master of all spies because everyone else just fucking sucks.
oh how could i forget that at the start of the twilight highlands questline the prince of the kingdom does better detective work in finding out there's cultists in the city then the actually fucking spies and shaw's only response is "oh yeah we had one dude that went investigating over there. he disappeared though. no one bothered to go look for him. guess you could."
hey remember when two si:7 agents were loudly talking in a busy inn about the agent they just murdered in a busy city
and how this conversation is quite literally within earshot of another person and they make no effort to keep quiet about it.
one of shaw’s best agents was a woman that let the crowned prince of stormwind just run off in an uncharted continent after he mind controlled her teammate. she made no effort to stop him despite not being mind controlled, and they just kinda give up finding him after that despite that being their ONE JOB.
si:7 is a trainwreck.
