On the 22nd of June, 1918, an estimated 86 clowns and circus performers were killed in a tragic freak accident. The Hagenbeck-Wallace Circus troop were travelling towards Indiana via railway when the driver, intoxicated with medication, was lulled to sleep by the gentle rolling of the locomotive, causing him to crash the vehicle into the back of another train. The train derailed, with most victims dying upon impact. Others burnt to death, while 127 were lucky enough to escape the wreckage alive. Above is an image of the mass grave in which up to 53 clowns were buried, each in his own casket and, sadly, many still wearing costume.

Located in the Bahamas, Dean’s Blue Hole is the second largest blue hole in the world, with a total depth of 202 metres (663 ft). Thousands of tourists, mainly daring free-divers, flock to the location every year to experience this surreal crater of the ocean.

Despite the warning signs that surround the site, countless people have died whilst exploring the depths, thought to have become disorientated at the sheer scale of the hole and falling deeper and deeper until they succumb to the lack of oxygen.

Relaxing POT Date

Pretty much had dinner and went to the theatre after! Been chatting with this guy on Bumble.

So basically, I’m not “goals” or “experienced sugar”, but here’s how the evening went:

My ride (a guy friend I met from college offered to be my chauffeur that night) dropped me off at the restaurant and when I got there, there was a bag sitting by my seat that said “Nice to meet you!”. Inside of it was a cake from my favorite bakery! then he pulled out a bigger bag full of other sweets and said either I could take my pick, or take the entire thing. Of course I opted for the entire thing. Quickly learned that it DEFINITELY DOESN’T HURT to take the tips on here from experienced sugars about telling your POT that you would like a gift on the first date. 

I expressed to him my love of high end international desserts in my messages so this was an okay gift. Next time I should say I love Louis Vuitton instead LMAO

Then after dinner we went to the theatre for classical music.

Another tip I’ve heard is that it’s best to make your POT dates short, but he didn’t seem like a serial killer and I actually REALLY enjoy the symphony so I went.  He bought more sweets and drinks at the theatre.

He wants to know what I expect of him and how our relationship will be ASAP. He knows I want to travel, but we still gotta discuss allowance/$$$.

We’re meeting again very soon to discuss $$$$$ but HIGHKEY I should’ve discussed it on this date, OR before the date. (I’ve heard the second date is fine to discuss this too, but I’m ready for cash because that’s the whole point of this ahhhhh) I’m learning as I go. But as far as safety goes, and screening, I currently have his entire name and work place at my disposal. He doesn’t seem crazy. And I also had my ride, fake name and shit planned with safety down on point.

I’m not flaunting or trying to flaunt. This is all PRACTICE. He could easily be salt, and this arrangement might not even work out so I’m not really too excited. I know things can go downhill. I’m even listing my mistakes so I can be better. I’m not experienced sugar. I’m just new, brown sugar entering the bowl. I realllllly want to go freestyling soon!
