If you’re looking for books that would help improve you decision making, alter habits, overcome barriers and challenge your perspective in life, these books are worth reading.
1. The Art Of Possibility by Rosamund Stone Zander & Benjamin Zander
Being blunt about not intending to solve your problems, the book proposes 12 practices instead that provides a different frame for you to look at obstacles. It helped me understand the significance of living in a world of possibility than in a world of measurements. I’ve grown fond of this book that I definitely plan on reading it again soon.
2. Simple Solutions: Harness the Power of Passion and Simplicity to Get Results by Tom Schmitt & Arnold Perl
I recommend Simple Solutions to anyone who is getting started on leadership. It’s a great book on how to apply simple answers to complex encounters. Through this book, I learned the importance of having mentors, boiling things down to their essence, and teamwork.
3. Discover you Strengths by Marcus Buckingham & Donald Clifton
From the same people who developed the widely known StrengthsFinder® Profile, this book not only helps you zero in on what your talents are but also coaches you on how to develop them.
Although I’ve personally found some topics in this book challenging to agree with, I cannot deny the fact that it has taught me to capitalize on my strengths and manage around my weaknesses.
Let me know what you think about them or if you have any other books on self-development you would recommend.
Sending some ambient love your way as we perform at Buku-Buku Kafe's Grand Opening at SM Dasmarinas this weekend. We play at 6/6:30 PM. It's FREE so come thru! 👌
Though I’d squeeze in something different to my busy week. Not really my favorite (Annie Hall still does it for me) romance film, but I had fun recording this.
Let me know if what you think and if you have any other movie suggestions.
