Well I’ve been pretty bad about posting here

like really bad.

So life:

It has been insane.

Still very single (insert melodramatic sigh)

Still very broke (for now- got like 3 big plans in the works for 3 separate jobs I’ve already started on)

Still got more family drama than a sitcom (Dear father: would you kindly admit to being wrong and get over yourself on occasion. Sincerely, your son)

Still training (Always)

What is new:

Opening a martial arts studio in the fall/winter (somewhere in SoCal. undecided where yet)

Picked up archery as a pastime

Started a knife collection

Binged Dark Souls III. twice.

Finished The Office and got into Parks and Rec.

Anyhow hoping to post more. xD

I have long identified as a progressive Christian, but I’m becoming increasingly annoyed with the progressive Christian movement– including certain leading thinkers whom I used to regard as personal heroes. Perhaps “moderate Christian” might be a better label for me. There’s not really a term for a person who’s mostly socially progressive but cannot abide a movement that tolerates making an idol of edginess and political correctness, total disrespect for centuries of Church tradition, liturgical illiteracy, lack of theological formation rooted in Scripture and Tradition, and placing the individual above the Body.
