Contrary to popular belief, a floor of wood chips or soft materials is auctaully really bad for a taph as it messes with nestbuilding by making uneven ground. If you want your taph to thrive, make its enclosure have mostly flat ground made of plastic wood or really any hard flat surface. with a ramp or 2 to a higher area and a clump of soft material in the corner for the taph to make a bed.

If a taph grabs your finger and drags it towards your nest, DO NOT RESIST as this is a taphlings way of saying you are worth being protected. By putting your finger in the nest. The taph will guide your finger through the traps unharmed.this is a sign of trust and friendship and should only be avoided if your taph has a disability that would prevent them from safely guiding your finger.
