He quickly turns his head away and raises his hand up to conceal his view of the Lamb. "Lamb, I-" He clears his throat. "I apologize, I did not mean to intrude. Lamb: Nari, you're fine. Don't worry about it. Narinder: "You're different than I thought." Image 3: Lamb: "What do you mean?" Narinder softens his expression while still looking away, but his fingers slightly part as his third eye glances at the Lamb. "You were so small back then. In the gateway I barely saw you. It didn't matter then. Seeing you now, I never thought you were so... Compelling." The Lamb stares at him shocked while pointing at themselves, their face flushed as well. "Compelling?" Narinder stutters and completely covers his eyes with his hands. "Wh- Lamb! For heavens sake- get dressed!" The Lamb turns and quickly walks away. Lamb: "Right! Right! Yeah!" Image 4: Narinder is seen stabbing the head of a heretic as they grip onto his sleeve. His face looks troubled and incredibly red. Roads of the Old Faith TTRPG is officially open!

After some long preparations, @ryuukitsune alongside with @kar-dragon have finished preparing Cult of the Lamb fan-project Roads of the Old Faith table-top roleplaying game.

What we're missing now is players – we invite everyone who wants to join the adventures (planned and unplanned alike) to join our Discord server where all roleplaying will be done.

Our first campaign will tell a story about a group of Lamb's mercenaries who left the Cult of the Red Crown to gather some resources in Darkwood, and were caught by a sudden coming of winter.

This campaign will be a playtest for our system, as well as a way for everyone to get familiar with Rotof mechanics. It will also be not canon, so that the characters that were made with other campaigns in mind can stay unchanged until it's time for proper crusades.

If you're not interested in playing, that's fine! We have a Watcher role for those who want to get familiar with roleplaying first. This role has no time limit, so you won't be kicked out for not playing even after many months.

Please share the word so that people who wished to play Cult of the Lamb version of D&D can find this project!

Narinder doesn't sleep. Every time he closes his eyes he sees Thrune, lifting Hamal by their arm, mauling their shoulder with all the verve of a mad raptor. Or, somehow worse, their face dropping in some distant future as they're once again hidden, dismissed, or cast aside. So instead he just lies there, his back to Hamal, one of their arms carefully draped over him. At long last, the shadow of his melancholy creeps in and curls up, taking its usual spot by the corner. The heavy sadness that murmurs, shaking its head in dismay: He was right you know. You're poison. No matter what he does, he'll be hurting Hamal. This was a mistake.
