Yall already KNOW im back again with a Pitt World War One casualty clearing station au!! This probably takes place sometime early 1918 or late 1917, because it was around that point that the situation became desperate enough to warrant putting aside social standards and allowing women to serve alongside male doctors, particularly in France and Germany. Whitaker is Welsh, Mel is of German descent, (cant decide if shes German-American or living in France, more at 8), Trinity is Filipina (obvs), Samira and Javadi are Indian, and Robby is Armenian-American… I figure Abbot is also american, but I kind of want to give him Boer war trauma so. Standby on him as well. There were, of course, plenty of laws and social conventions that would work very hard to prevent women of color serving in the army at all, so for this au we are going to assume that any and all women of color are working under the radar and taking advantage of the chaos to help whoever will accept their help wherever they can.
