Hi everyone.

So I've been gone a long time and I don't even know how long. Lives been kinda extreme I can't lie. With the pandemic and everything I've been struggling to get by and I think I needed the break. I wanted to let you know that this blog is going an an hiatus. I think so many muses are draining me out but once life goes back to normal, maybe I'll be back on this account.

I have however started a new RP account with just Rosa to get me back into the swing of things! So if you're interested come and find me over at @blazingmeadows and we can chat! It would be nice to speak to you all again.

Laura wasn’t a sappy person, she wasn’t someone for cliches or romance but he brought it out in her. She cared for him more then anyone else so when they were caught in the rain just a block from their apartment building, she couldn’t help but stop running and pull him in for a kiss. Wrapping her arms around him and holding him tightly under the light of the street lights and enjoying every moment.

It was sort of funny how in love they still were and how cute they could be together.  The natural thing would have been to hold her hand as they walked home together, but instead he scooped her up in his arms like a newly wed to carry her there as he ran the last block so she wouldn’t have to.  “Can you get the door?  My hands are kind of full,” he asked playfully as they approached the apartment building.

Laura couldn’t help but let out a quiet gasp, it wasn’t very often she was caught by surprise. She was trained to not be caught off guard but here he was. She wrapped her arms around his neck to support herself and grinned up at him as they walked, the rain splashing off them. “Gladly” she reached across and just about pulled the door open, it was a little difficult from that particular angle but she didn’t mind.

They had been out doing different things for the night and were both racing home to get out of the rain and into each other’s arms.  Seeing her on the street in the rain like that was almost like falling in love all over again.  Her kiss was unexpected, but very welcomed and gladly returned as he held onto her too.  It felt like they could stand there and kiss forever regardless of the weather, his body providing her with much needed warmth.  “We should probably go home,” he said against her lips before continuing the kiss.

She didn’t want to let him go but knew he was right. It wasn’t a warm evening which is why she had expected the rain but not so soon into the night. She nodded as he spoke, keeping her lips close to his so their continuation of the kiss wasn’t hard work before leaning back and lacing her fingers with his. She didn’t want to let him go. “Lets get somewhere warm.”

“Hey, are you okay over there?” Gwen called out to the shadowy figure standing on the edge of the building. She’d stumbled upon the rooftop by accident when her dads police ball had become too boring and she just wanted to get away. She definitely wasn’t dressed for the night time breeze that her spider-suit usually protected her from but she didn’t care, she wanted to make sure the other was okay.

Ismay had been out in the forest scavenging for supplies. Food, ingredients for spells and potions, anything she could make use of in her isolated cottage. The sun streamed through the trees and every so often made her squint while she moved further into the trees. She heard him before she saw him, his calling startled her at first but when she edged around a particularly large patch of shrubbery and spotting his battered body, she knew she had to help. “It’s okay” She reassured, rushing to his side and reaching out to help support him. “It’s okay, lets get you somewhere safe.”

Oh, Melitele someone was there! Someone actually was there! He had a fighting chance to survive! That was such a relief. He could not even find words for it. Jaskier gave her a smile as she reached out to help him and steady him. He was glad he didn’t have to lean to heavily on her, because that might have toppled them over. He was not exactly small after all.

“Thank you. Thank you so much. Is there somewhere that has…alcohol here? Strong alcohol?” He would need it. In part, of course, to ingest it, but also to clean the wound as much as he could. “I’m Jaskier…who..is my savior?”

Dear lord he’s a state Ismay thought when she got within reach of the stranger and placed her hands either side of his torso. She stood by his side, looking him over and briefly examining his injuries before starting to walk him back in the direction she’d come from. “I can find you something” Ismay told him with a nod, the closest place was her home but she knew she had at least a few bottles in her pantry. “My names Ismay, lets get you out of the cold.”

Sarah stepped back, putting a little extra distance between herself and Diego. She couldn’t help but want to stay close and keep an eye on him for any injuries. Pressing her lips together in a slight pout, she crossed her arms and sighed “You could have been seriously hurt...”

The thought of those scientists caring more about their careers and their experiment then someones life mad her blood boil. Clenching her fists and feeling the electricity begin to spark in her palms. “I want to show them that I survived... I want to show them I’m strong.”

He chuckled at the pat to his arm, “He’s old and I don’t remember him ever being sick before so I don’t understand what happened to make him sick.” He said with a sigh, his cheeks still red but it was slowly fading. “Usually he would be here with me, we’re always together.” Bragi glanced down to the distance between his legs and the bar, indicating that was the location his animal usually sat in.

“Maybe it’s just his age, no creature is built to live forever” She supposed that technically that wasn’t true since her life was had been extremely extended but she was trying to comfort him. “Are you not used to being alone?” Ismay asked without much thought. She definitely was.
