gross how low people are willing to go to defend guys they've somehow convinced themselves they know regardless of what's factual the things i've read and seen in defense were beyond disgusting i wish ppl would step back and look at themselves. more importantly the way everyone's most likely going to move on after a few days and all is back to normal bc that's always what happens is scary as hell and it makes me not want to be here

It's funny that the general vibe is that Twitchcon Amsterdam went so much better than Twitchcon US because of the work Tommy's team did. Not that I doubt that for a second -- Tommy's got a fucking organized team that's used to doing shit on location.

It's funny because, last year when Tommy and Wilbur said they wanted to go to multiple conventions, there were other cc's who were talking about how they likely didn't understand how much planning and work needed to go into them going to cons safely even without COVID concerns.

And, uh, I think people vastly underestimated how competent Tommy's team is.

It’s because people think of Tommy himself as unintelligent I think, when he and his team are actually very competent and well organised and clever. Tommy just likes weird bits.

no like the team tommy has built is crazy good and well rounded bc if you really think of the work that has to go into producing most of his vlogs is crazy just all the planning, organizing, booking, filming that happens especially when wilbur has been like I essentially show up that's it and they make it look easy they way it looks like it's just tommy and and his friends fucking around is insane kudos to him and his team bc I know that shit is not easy

Yeah the key to Tommy's team is that they can make that shit look easy and keep the stress off the creators to the point that it's like they're not there. Like if we didn't get mentions of Russ now and then I don't think people would even realize it's not just Tommy and his friends going places on a whim. Look at what happened when Phil's Amsterdam trip got fucked up and he just had to call Tommy's people and let them deal with it. Do you know how hard it is to get to film good content at amusement parks and places like that? On top of the onsite managing/producing Russ does there's a whole team booking guides and locations and planning travel around multiple schedules. Tommy doesn't get enough credit for how much of a professional operation backs him.
