It almost makes me want to pick up ITTM verse again because there were originally two more arcs planned of ichtinia (‘the Claudia years’ and what I was calling ‘the third act’) that was going to try to reckon with Lestat’s abusive instincts and the legacy of abuse.

The crazy thing is that I do enjoy and love Lestat as a character (that’s my Worstie right there) and I went into the tvl season giving everything the benefit of the doubt and hoping that I’d love it.

I thought we’d be getting a season of Lestat reckoning with his past trauma and how he continued that cycle of abuse with Louis and Claudia, with Ghost Claudia haunting the fuck out of him ala totbt.
