So Rex, Fives, Echo, Cody and Fox are quintuplets, not because Jango was sleeping around but because he donated sperm lol.

Either way, they all became fishermen for a fishing business called Kamino, and ironically became rivals to Jango's even smaller and family driven fishing business. With Rex becoming captain of a little boat, while Cody handles more the management trade side.

Fishermen around that region have the worst luck ever because the merfolk -the jedi- are very territorial, very against humans and make ruining fishmen and any other human activity a literal part of their training. One day Ahsoka got trapped in a net, and right when Anakin was trying to cut the net, the Boys pulled off the net and surprise what they caught!

Altho there was discussion about what to do, -one of the suggestions was to give them to that one shady Marine Biology institution- they just ended helping them. And because Ahsoka and Anakin are curious by Nature and have a disregard for rules, they kept following and watching from afar, until they kind of became friends and hang up, and Anakin allows them to fish in the zone- at least the part that he's supposed to watch over, is not like anyone else will notice; unless resources start to decline.
