Maybe for spreading lies, misinformation, rumours, etc? This post is clearly meant to imply that Davy Jones was gay, and his wife was his “beard”, meaning that he was with her to hide the fact that he was gay. Absolutely none of this is true at all, and I cannot comprehend how you could think this is an appropriate thing to joke about. You know that there are people on Tumblr who might look at this post and believe that it is true? By posting this you are actively disrespecting and tarnishing the reputation of Davy Jones and The Monkees as a whole. 

(And before you try to come at me for being “homophobic”, because I know how Tumblr is, there is nothing homophobic about stating the truth, that Davy Jones was not gay, and I do not have any issue with gay people so long as they do not try to force their lifestyle onto others.)
