These are all the Gex that are most prominent on the askblog

Jedd:(Based on Kennel-thing)The alpha of all gex and the most arrogant. They can be very short tempered at times.

Clark: (Based of Clark from The Thing) Am absolute beacon of chaotic evil. If they can destroy it, they will. Also prone to getting into fights and stealing things, especially food. Not very popular with the other Gex.

Teddy:(based on stuffed animals, body horror may take insp from the Quiet Room Bears) Full name is Teddy Ripskin, but they can also be referred to as Ted or Plushy. Teddy is small, quiet and usually timid, often hiding among stuffed animals to blend in, and avoid others. However, if provoked, they will immediately go for their body horror-like defenses to try and scare off their provoker or make them flinch, which is when they will take the opportunity to feel, most of the time. If they need to, they will be violent.

Bottin: (Based on Norris-thing) One of the warriors of their species, they tend to abuse their power and use it to scare off others. Bottin is very cautions and high-strung. They might be short but they make up for it in wits.

-bottin changed their size to match that of tremor and flopped down like a cat-

“Oh! My name is Bottin, Im not sure if you met them or not but im the same species as Jedd”

-they extended a claw as if they wanted a handshake-

Tremor’s vacant eyes stared at Bottin as he grew in size. He did have many more tricks then, didn’t he?

“Jedd! I know him.” He exclaimed as he righted himself.

“Any friend of Jedd is a friend of mine.” He reached out to shake the other creature’s claw, only for his hand to phase right through, causing him to stumble a bit.

“Ah, sorry about that. Sometimes I forget that I’m a ghost.”

-bottin sat there confused for a second and shook their head-

"Wh- Oh yeah ghost, well It was nice meeting you!

“Hey that was pretty good! As cliche as this may sound I think if you practice hard enough you will get really good at it!”

-they yawned and streached, as they did multiple tendrils burst out of their back and whipped around slightly-

“You really think so? Deadmore is the best at disguises. He’s been training me but I-”

Tremor fell back in shock when the gex’s tendrils came out. He rolled backwards and landed flat on his stomach. “Oof. I see you’ve got tendrils too, like my grandpa and my sister. I didn’t get any when I was built, I just have teeth and claws.”

He rolled over to the side, now acting more playful than aggressive. He could tell now the thing talking to him was not food, but possibly a friend. “Oh and I didn’t get your name! Mine’s Tremor. It’s nice to meet you uh, whatever you are.”

“its a form of shapeshifting, although its not as easy as you may think, to put it this way its like a parasite that feeds off of the host and slowly starts to replicate it.”

-Bottin crept out of the shadows and jumped off from the ceiling and started pacing around tremor-

Tremor sat with his legs bent in a dog-like fashion while the other creature walked around him. His head was swivelling all the way back to track its movement. 

“Ooh, shape-shifting. I know what that is! It’s when you make yourself look different to trick people. That makes it easier to catch them, right? I can do a bit of that.”

Tremor swiped a clawed hand over his face, changing it from its usual blue parlour to flesh tone. He almost looked human, if not for the fangs sticking out from his lips. He quickly changed back. “I’m not very good at it, though.” He sighed.

Bottin lunged their neck forward out of the shadows with a bluff bite, the rest of their body still being hidden and hanging from the ceiling- “Boo. I keep forgetting how aggressive the peoplebusters can be at times, don’t think for a second that I won’t hesitate to assimilate you.”

Tremor jumped back to avoid the gex’s jaws, and responded by opening his head and displaying his own rows of sharp teeth. “Grrrooaaahhh!”

He snapped his mandibles shut so he could look forward again. “Yeah, tiny, I’d like to see you try and assim- asmil, erm…” He stuttered, scratching his chin.

“What is as-im-il-at? Is that like eating, or is it something else?”

-a pair of glowing red and green eyes started to emerge from the shadows- "Hello there, never thought I would see some of your kind here" they said in an ominous voice

Tremor looked up at the stranger watching him. It was clearly not a ghost, but it wasn’t a regular animal either.

“My kind? What do you know about my kind?” He asked as he casually picked his jagged teeth. “I don’t know who you are, but if you came here for lunch you’re too late, heheh.”

The skeletal ghoul shambled closer to the figure in the shadows, sniffing the air. He was trying to decide wether is was a friend, a foe, or... Food.

“I can go wherever I want, whenever I want. These old battlefields are like buffet tables for me, although it would be nicer to have something fresh.” He growled, with blue slime dripping from his mouth and chest.

[Teddy had noticed the presence of something or someone who is NOT a Gex. Instinctively, the small Gex skittered towards a dimly lit room. Inside the medium sized room was a toy box under a desk, which they promptly hid inside, covering themself with stuffed animals]
