I don’t like how you put these two photos together, as if to imply that the dumplings with the paw print have anything to do with this sweet, innocent angel who has never done anything wrong.

Time loop, but you only get, like, two repeats.
Like, you might not even realize what's going on before it's over if you live a very same-y sort of existence like I do. Then you go to bed with plans to sleep in, because you realize you've lived the same day twice, except it's now an actually different day, and you get yelled at for being a no-call-no-show.
Honestly, if IGN weren't doing that thing where they drum up controversy for the sake of relevancy, I think this whole... Mixtape situation would've never happened.
Like, Mixtape is a perfectly admirable... interactive movie-type... Game... Thing. Give it a few years, and it probably would be a cult classic. Like, "Yeah, it's short and it's got that weird kissing mini-game, but the music, visuals, and vibes are all immaculate."
Personally, I think it would do much better as just... a movie. Like, air that shit at Sundance and watch the 40-somethings that would've been teens in the 90s lose that shit, because it would've been catnip. It's a perfect little bomb on 90s nostalgia, and the art style is trending. Still meets my Pizza Rule requirement, too.
That said, IGN just had to give the boomer shooter that people were obviously going to compare to Cuphead due to art style similarities a 6/10 not long before Mixtape's 10/10. And the average person that pretends to care about what game journalists think (read: their favorite twitter person posting their complaints about it) is a reactionary dipshit that is often times one or two indie games from a ball-and-gun-gamer.
And when they start talking shit about an aesthetic dreamboat, the equal and opposite reactions happens from people that shit on anything that isn't either a cozy farming game or a choice-and-consequence telltale-like (As an aside, are those called visual novels? I want to call them visual novels, but I don't know what distinguishes something like Telltale's TWD and Stranger Things from... Slay the Princess and Danganronpa).
So now everyone gets to be annoyed because two of the most obnoxious groups in gaming won't quit bitching about this (and each other) for the next month.
Where did I hear something about there possibly being a Venture Bros. spin-off focused on Triana and her time with her mom?
Not, like, in the works, but that it was a possibility at some point between season 4 and 5?
Like, I distinctly remember hearing some concept that it was supposed to be about Triana getting jaded and completely over all the magic crap in her life, and that it was going to feature Tatyana realizing that Outrider is as much a tool (if in a different way) as Orpheus.
Stuff about finding moving furniture annoying/creepy, or dealing with wannabe arches... I think.
I saw, for the first time in at least a decade, an interaction on the internet that was just a series of memes and gifs, and I got so nostalgic my headstaryed hurting.
Hunter Gathers softening up on Dolly after she starts to transition.
That is all.
I'm listening to a duckfeed-affiliated Supernatural podcast as someone whose only real experience with the franchise was a short 6 or 7 episode binge at a friend's house in 8th grade.
Is it a thing in the cross-fandom space to note that this show sounds like someone's Hunter: The Reckoning campaignfrom when they were either 12 or 16? Cause it sounds like it.
Can't wait to eventually own a proper desktop so I can finally learn how to play Total War.
I bought Three Kingdoms months ago, but couldn't run it eithout crashing on my laptop. Notto mention the Warhammer games.
Lowkey remembered that LeagueOfFics was a thing and got sad that I couldn't remember almost any of the ship names. Like Dark Water is imbedded in my brain, but their Lux/Cassiopea, Sejuani/Ashe, and Vi/Cait ship names have completely fled my mind.
I'm working on buying a house (which is a wild fucking statement, considering I grew up in poverty) and I hope it goes through, because it'll mean being the first person in my family in 3 generations to own a house.
It's a 3 bed 1 bath, with a basement that runs the full length of the house. The rooms are all tiny, because it was built in 1910, but there's plenty to work with since I'm by myself.
I'm so excited to start accumulating things. Like, books and art and movies and shit. A computer that's not a shitty laptop, some day. Maybe even having people over, instead of dancing around my home life...
I'd never run a subreddit, but if I did, I'd make a rule against repetitive titles. Especially if it were focused on an Adult Topic.
Like, having every title on /anime_irl *be* anime_irl works for them, sure. But I hate seeing the same "question" as a title on something like r/puffynipples or r/clowngirls.
"Do people really think (topic) is hot?"
"Are you people really into (topic)?"
"What do you think of my (topicl?"
I think you should get new material, personally.
Three kidney stones in three weeks.... fml.
First one sucked, and the pain kept around and led to a UTI diagnosis on top of it.
Second was loosened by a pot hole. Not fun, and it took me a while to clean the vomit out of my car. (Also, the nurse in the ED gave me rocephin in my fucking left delt, and it was cramping si bad for an hour there that I couldn't even feel the stone).
Third? Just sitting in my med room where I work when my side just starts ramping up into a constant, sharp thrumming agony. Actually fucking horrible since the bathroom is right up against a client's room, so my repeatedly going in their will keep them up.
Fuck I can't wait to go home, eat, shower, and pop a percocet from the second stone. I'm still well within the timeframe of that script to be takingbit.
Fucking perc didn't help at all. It's 0950, I need to get up at 1445. I can't sleep because of how bad the pain is.
Literally throwing up from the pain of it. Can't lay down, can't sit up, can't stand, can't walk. Everything I do hurts worse than sitting on the toilet and flexing my diaphragm to try and force a piss, and that hurts enough to cause me to throw up - as previously mentioned.
Can't call off, already missed too much because of the other stones I've had sending me to the ER.
Need to set up an appointment with a urologist and request lithotripsy.
Fml...

Much as I love the Halloween franchise, I can't help but wonder what the timeline where it was kept as an anthology looks like.
Maybe Rob Zombie still went and did his remake. Maybe the last three movies still wound up being produced.
Maybe horror looked only a little different, or maybe it was an entirely different landscape.
I like to imagine a world where a horror movie set during one of the world wars, featuring a werewolf antagonist, was made.
High key? Fuck kidney stones.
11 hours of 8/10 pain before I decided a visit to ED was a good idea. Agony.
Update: Twas apparently a mix of kidney stones and a kidney stone induced UTI.
Still fucking hurts.
Genuinely can't sleep because of urgency. Like, I work tonight, but it's 1:25 and I can't sleep because I keep getting up to be.
Might need a texas catheter, genuinely.
