Bedtime should work like in computer games where I lie down and click "yes" on a menu and then there's an eight hour timeskip and I can get up again all refreshed.
The dice are telling a story and that story is "Taliesin gets to lie as much as he fucking wants."
“You still have a thesis due at the end of this semester-“
“No I fucking don’t”
Professors will demand the craziest shit from you huh. Real as fuck Occtis thank you.
I managed to finish Pin before tonight's episode! (Of course, I'd been debating on whether or not to even start right before ep4, and it was only after the rollercoaster of an episode ended that I decided to actually look for the buttons lol)
He's currently having the worst time at disney land
The face of a man who realizes he just lost his magic band in the water. ¹
[1]: this joke was first created by my sister (2025) who worked at Disney World. I have no idea what a magic band is. Please don’t enlighten me.

All right, we're a little over a day away from episode three of Campaign Four, and I've been thinking about the (excellent) narrative cold opens and interior flashbacks from both of the episodes we've seen so far. In my mind, it stands to reason that Brennan will continue this trend, at least for the Overture - it's a great way to flesh out the connected histories of these people and their world.
We have a couple alluded-to events from backstories that have particularly stuck with me as moments we might be revisiting, so I present to you the following question:
Which of these possible flashbacks do you think we're the MOST likely to see in the next two episodes of the Overture?
Thaisha and Occtis getting the coffin for Thjazi
Julien defeating Thjazi / "bringing him to justice"
Vaelus experiencing Sylandri's death / the death of the gods 70 years ago
Thaisha leaving Hal and her kids to go out into the world
Thjazi helping Occtis somehow when Occtis was a child
Tyranny's initial entrance to the plane, and/or her first time meeting Wick
Kattigan ditching the Torn Banner after that one battle
Other (please tell me in the tags, I'm so curious)
(There's absolutely WAY more potential options than this, to be clear - these are the ones I personally find most likely, but I can't wait to hear other suggestions and am always excited to be proven wrong.)

grabbing my friends’ by the shoulders and shaking them profusely and begging them to tune into the new (easily digestible) season of critical role before there’s an unreasonable amount of content to watch
I do love (genuinely) how this fandom (many posts) is like "Critical Role is easy to digest right now" because there's only one episode in a new setting, and yet I've seen at least three different people trying to diagram out only the relationships we know about so far and they're as big as Shakespeare's more intense plays. Because like relatively, this is as simple and straightforward as it's going to get.
We truely are the XKCD Average Familiarity comic.
thinking about the time a dude with a booth trying to get sign ups (no recollection of what for) approached me and said “Hey! do you know how much a polar bear weighs?” the correct response to this is “i don’t know”, so that the original speaker can say “enough to break the ice!” however, he did not count on Animal Facts Georg saying “i think about 990lbs?” which destroyed any hope for a normal and productive conversation
