I think a lot about how when Dipper put the brain scan thing on Ford, one of the things that popped up was Stan’s voice saying “My brother is a dangerous know-it-all–” which means that at the time Stan actually said that, Ford was listening. So like… after his “heroic” probably staged display of capturing the cyloptopus, was he just standing there on the other side of the door, listening and hoping to hear praise or how cool he is or something? ‘Cause that makes me kinda sad. But then so does the fact that he is apparently still thinking about (or at least having it bounce around in his subconscious) Stan warning the Dipper away from him two episodes later, which also makes me sad.
