Things I’m enjoying on my Travelers rewatch:

Yes, Marcy actually was that cold at the beginning of the show, she just apparently warmed up a lot before season 2

Philip deadpan telling people he’s from the future and them assuming he’s lying

Trevor being baffled by the young’uns around him but wholeheartedly and unreservedly enjoying being able to run, play sports badly, eat terrible cafeteria food, and take walks in the park

Trevor’s mom. Is Dr. Janet Frasier.

Also in season 2 Major Samantha Carter is a therapist.

(I’ve had an account here for years but rarely use it so please consider me new and tell me if I do anything wrong! Just figured the Travelers fandom was so small that even my measly contributions might be worth something! ;))

How old does everyone think all the travelers really are? Obviously Trevor is (very, very) old but are there any hints as to the others’ ages?

I’d say MacLaren is probably younger than his host since he asks Carly what she thinks of older men in the second(?) episode. So he’s younger than 54 (if we go by the actor’s age) but that still leaves a lot of options!

I keep thinking Philip is quite young just from the way he acts - he’s the most likely to freeze when something bad happens (like Trevor getting shot or when he knocks out the guard in 2x01) but that could just be his personality. He says something about being put in the “body of a young man” so that sounds like he’s older than his host (who’s 20, I think?).

Philip’s traveler number is lower than the rest (if we ignore 0115) so he could be older than them if that goes by age… Although I’ve been watching with the theory that there’s a time-travel program people volunteer to be part of in the future, then you get a number when you join. So if historians are chosen as infants then 3326 could have got his number at a younger age than the others (I keep thinking of it in a similar way to the army where you have to be a certain age before you can join up. Historians mess that up with the whole ‘trained from birth’ thing!)

If I’m wrong and it is an age thing then Carly should be around MacLaren’s age since they’re 3465 and 3468.

No idea for Marcy!

And does it work using the host name when you’re talking about the traveler before they go back in time? Just feels weird calling them by their numbers (which is probably why I’m hoping they only get their numbers when they join up rather than them having numbers instead of names. The historians being selected as infants keeps making me think of child soldiers so I’m hoping they’re the exception rather than the rule!).

Travelers Fandom, this seems like good news to me! He did not respond, but he liked the tweet… perhaps if more of us on Twitter start to ask him questions, he’ll be open or tell us more about his plans for some LGBT characters.

Send him a tweet or two, but be respectful, don’t shove any ships down his throat!

Hm, I actually don’t know. I personally call myself a traveler, but maybe to shorten it it could be something like travfandom. That’s pretty unique? Maybe we could call ourselves offmissioners
