1 – I guess it's more like taken identity, but Travelers were the first thing that came to my head when I saw this prompt. I had to do this one for every team member – hence 10 icons instead of usual 9. 2 – They're keeping the stolen identities, which really makes them liars and whumps their asses many times. In a way, even the lyric would fit this one, as their new identities were really not what they've expected.

Hi! Idk if you check your asks much, but I need to rant to somebody! I wanted something subtly travelers related/merch, so I bought a necklace on Etsy. And,,,,it got stolen off my porch after being delivered. Someone stole a necklace that just says “3326” 💀

….I really hope they didn’t throw it away because I want to think someone is out there repping Philip without knowing.

Sorry for dropping into your inbox like this, but you're one of the only active blogs I could find- guess that's because I came to the fandom 3 years late 😬😂

I've just finished s2 of Travelers and oh. My. God. what a way to end a season! I'm looking forwards to seeing season 3 and I'm happy it ended when the writer wanted it to, so it didn't become one of those shows which continued until everyone got burnt out, but I'm also sad that this is the last one. Every character of this show is so well-realised- there's never a moment where the camera cuts to a subplot & I'd rather be watching the main characters. It's such a masterclass in clever SciFi writing on a budget, on top of being entertaining.

The last episode literally had me sobbing. It’s not that hard to make me cry when watching something. If someone’s crying on screen then I’m crying too and I can’t help it. And you’re totally right about the writing, the way I explain it to people is “you know when you’re watching a show and you’re really deep into it and then the story comes together and all the pieces click into place and everything makes sense and you have a galaxy brain moment? The whole show is like that.”

I’m def planning on doing a rewatch soon, it’s been way too long. I don’t watch a lot of tv anymore but today was a sick day (hello back problems at age 21) and I watched Loki and forgot how much I enjoy unwinding with some tv. Thanks for the ask! ❤️

Since I've finished travelers the last episode is stuck in my head and I cant stop thinking about david and marcy (3569)

At the end they show david meeting the actual marcy, in which 001 never destroys her brain, and, for me, this is very bittersweet. On one hand, of course I'm so glad marcy gets to live her life as she was meant to, it was heartbreaking both times through to realize that marcy wasnt just a mentally disabled person, but that she had been made that way by 001. And it's also good to see that even without ever meeting 3569, david still gets his great love story, which he absolutely deserves.

But what's sad about it for me, is that the love story we got to see develop, the bond so strong and inescapable that we saw 3569 fall in love with him twice, never happens. In this timeline, they never meet, 3569 gets a different host, and david ends up (presumably) with the actual Marcy. In my mind, theres no replacing a love like 3569 had for david and he had for her. They were soulmates, who got to meet and be together despite 431 years of separation in their lifetimes. It was magical, a miracle, but it depended on the tragedy of what 001 did to marcy, which, in the timeline of the next iteration of the traveler program, doesnt happen.

It breaks my heart a little, that 3569 will never know what it's like to love someone that deeply and have them love you back the same. And it also makes you wonder what she'll be like, bc you can see so clearly how much that relationship, that love, changed her in the 21st.

Okay, I’m two years late, and the fandom may not exist, but I must give a freaking slow clap to Netflix Travelers.  I really hate that this show did not get the love it should.  I just found it two years after it went off, but man, I would have given it the love if I had known.  OMG!  This show is freaking good; actually, I kept saying during the episodes. 

The pace of the story is done so well.  The characters, plot, and chemistry with the main five!

Five things I loved, spoilers ahead

S2E5, which was aired in 2017.   We are in 2020, and a show predicts the COVID virus in 2017?!  

The Team- Only a few shows can write an ensemble team, and the Travelers is the lead in this.  

001/Villain- Write a villain character; don’t give them a redemption arc and let me enjoy.  Yes.  

Dave and Grace- These two characters bring a different type of humor to the story.  Protect them at all costs.

The ending:  Genius
