I love fate in fiction, nothings better then watching someone struggle against actions that they can't escape.

However on the other hand, I hate the idea of fate irl. The existence of fate would imply that everything I've ever done, everything I've ever achieved is just meant to happen. By it's very existence it invalidates every little bit of effort I put into anything because it's fate that I would succeed, why bother revising if it's fate that I'll pass, why bother talking to people if fate will bring them to me. And I think it's important to remember that fate didn't make me who I am today. Every little choice no matter how deliberate was my own because I made who I am. Not fate. Not any supernatural force.

Sure god may have given me the chisel, but I worked at the marble.

like i'm sorry but we as a fandom have to stay firm on our anti-AI values. we cannot suddenly start giving AI a pass when it's something we "want to see" like destiel kisses. it's not suddenly fine. we're not going to start using AI to make fanfic scenes come to life or audio AI to make characters "say" stuff we want to hear. you have GOT to be firm on your anti-AI stance. if you start making exceptions then suddenly anything will fly. fandom is for real art and creations made by real people. no AI fanfics. no AI art. no AI rendered "bonus" scenes. no AI audio. none of it has a place here.

Captain America: Brave new world spoilers

This is just my review from letter box pasted here: (I'll probably write a whole thing later)

I love the continuation of captain America films being really political.

The air combat scenes were really fun and it was a really good extension of Sam Wilson's character. Especially with the Bucky cameo at the moment of doubt.

I do wish there was a hulk cameo as its focused around loads of hulk villains.

It was also nice to see the red hulk be defeated by more then just beating him up until he dies. And it continues the whole thing of captain America needs to be a good man not a good soldier. Torres is really fun as well.
