Ianto looked around the room at everything he has packed up. There wasn't much - just a few of his office type things and some spare suits. He'd never really felt welcome enough here to add anymore then that. It didn't matter anymore though. Lisa was gone and he was leaving torchwood behind for good now. He wasn't sure what he was going to do now but he'd find something - start a new. "Well thats everything." He muttered to himself quietly before picking up the box with his things in it and turning around to leave.

“If we got married, would I have to take your last name? Or could we just make up a new one?” Jack asked with a smirk.
Ianto looked over at Jack with a confused look. “Whats with this all of a sudden - although I must say no matter what way you put it if I had your last name it sounds wrong, if you take mine it sounds even worse… what about hyphenating it. Jack Harkness-Jones.” He stated, pulling the other in for a quick chaste kiss.

Jack nodded, listening to Ianto’s scolding. He waved over a waiter to get the other’s order. Once the waiter had left, Jack turned his attention back to his lover. He sighed. “You didn’t upset me, Yan.” He said, taking the Welshman’s hand. He dropped his gaze. “I have a lot of…apprehensions. I dunno if you’ve noticed, but I’m not exactly the marrying kind. I shouldn’t have even said anything. It was stupid.”
Ianto shook his head. "I don't want to hear excuses - or be told about your apprehensions as you put it. I'm already aware of a few of them. What I want is for you to tell me when i've pushed you too far and you need me to stop." Hee clutched Jack's hand in his tightly. "I'm aware that you aren't the marrying kind but that was pretty strong reaction to be just about a few mentions. What's on your mind. For once just let me in. Please." He whispered.

Ianto huffed slightly. "I'm not British. British drink tea all day. I'm Welsh and I definitely do not drink tea all day - terrible drink that it is. And those suits were expensive!" He insisted, leaning into Jack and humming happily. He liked being close to Jack like this. It was one of the nicer things in life. Leaning forward he kissed those pouting lips gently and quickly.

Jack grinned at Ianto’s boldness. He reached up to catch Ianto’s hand in one of his own and used it to tug him closer. ”Hello to you too,” he smirked, meeting Ianto’s eyes.
Jack grinned at that. ”I’ve got nowhere to be but right here,” he answered. He laced his fingers together across the small of Ianto’s back and leaned away from him just enough to see his face. ”What do you say to a night in? I could even cook something. God knows we’ve all practically lived on take away for the past week. Just us, nowhere to be, no obligations. It’d be nice.”
It would be, even if it was at the Hub. It wasn’t as though Jack had anywhere else to go, though. He had voluntarily given up his life outside of Torchwood decades ago. Although he rarely regretted it, there were days. He could offer to take Ianto someplace, but that felt a bit to much like Owen’s usual MO. And he wasn’t going to invite himself back to Ianto’s. He could be a gentleman when he tried. Unfortunately, that meant the Hub, which meant less distance between them and work. Still, though, he could hardly complain. It was cozy in its own way. He watched Ianto patiently, rubbing small circles into his back with his thumbs.
Ianto smiled at him. "Like I could say no to you. It's a stupid question - of course i'd love a night in." It would mean more time to spend with Jack and he could never turn that down - not that saying no to Jack is even possible. Whether he knew it or not he had Ianto wrapped around his little finger.
"I didn't know you could cook though." He commented with a raised eyebrow. Mentally filing it away he tried to think of when Jack could have possibly mentioned something but he couldn't find anything in his 'Jack' folder in his mind.Humming a little, he leaned back into the thumbs rubbing into his back. It felt nice. It wasn't often that he got to endulge in things that were nice - bar his suits of course. He'd never been one to accept being pampered and looked after. But when it came to Jack had long since convinced himself that itt was alright. If it's Jack then it's okay to be cared for. But only Jack. No-one else was allowed to see under his mask. Not for anything.

That wasn't just it though. He would have to take him back to the hub so that they could figure out whats happening.

Tosh blew out a sigh. “I know, but it would make me feel a lot better,” she said, feeling annoyed about all the potential data she might’ve lost. “Some of the things it shut down were important—I was working on expanding our translation database. There were a lot of things that needed updating.” She too scanned the area for potential clues, finding nothing except for… Wait a tick. “I know that stack of paper hadn’t been knocked over when we were over here last,” she mused aloud, “so maybe it’s gone that way?” She pointed in the direction in which the paper had fallen.
Ianto looked over there and immediately nodded. "Definitely possible. I'd never intentionally let papers fly around all over the place - not if i could help it." He agreed, beginning to move in that direction. "I know you've been working really hard on everything. Hopefully the system didn't completely delete it all. If you're lucky, when we manage to get the systems back up and running everything will be as you left it and we can finally figure out what this is." He continued. His movements were slow but brisk and nearly unnoticeable as he scanned the area for potential clues. He couldn't wait to get his hands on this thing- not literally of course. It has been nothing but trouble so far.
