Are you Thor, the God of Hammers?
Thor: Ragnarok (2017), dir. Taika Waititi
It's been a while since endgame and I still don't believe tony Stark is dead. He's just sitting there, watching everything and laughing from his safe house where the avengers will never find him.
i love harry potter but GOD do i hate jk rowling
“Peter Parker doesn’t need another father figure of his to die.”
-literally everybody
It’s hard being a fangirl
Steve: WHAT ARE ALL THESE DEAD BODIES DOING HERE?!
Natasha: [nudges one with her toe] Honestly, not much.
EXCUSE ME BUT WHERE’S THE FIC I NEED IT
oh god, I’ve fallen down a rabbit hole
Bonus:
I need this.
@tilltheendwilliwrite
NO MORE BUNNIES!
My garden is full. But hot damn!
@captain-rogers-beard @cbfirestarter
Oh boy! I need this in my life!
I’ve been wanting to write this.
Avengers: Endgame alternate ending where Thor gets hold of the gauntlet in the final fight to snap instead of Tony, and when he snaps, he doesn’t just wipe out Thanos’ army. With that agonizing flick of his fingers, he brings back all of Asgard and the dead Asgardians as well – both those killed by Thanos and by Hela. The gauntlet burns and shrivels his arm in the process, and while he survives, he ends up losing the arm (leaving him looking like comics!Thor–)
(Also he doesn’t dust Thanos but leaves him for Nebula and Gamora to finish off. He’s had his turn before, it’s time they get theirs. And as he staggers back to his feet, Bucky immediately points out that if he’s in the market for an arm, he knows a gal.)
The effect of Thanos’ forces turning to ash is easy enough to observe, but Thor doesn’t know if his snap worked to bring Asgard back as well until he looks up and, warily, calls out Heimdall’s name…
…And the bifrost opens.
He smiles to his companions, then takes the bridge back to the newly restored realm eternal. His friends are all there on the bridge waiting for him, and through the crowd, a familiar lean figure steps forward, smirking.
“I told you the sun would shine on us again,” Loki remarks, before Thor crushes the breath out of him in an embrace.
The king is returned. And the sun shines on Asgard in the dawn of a new age.
Appreciation post for our queen of Asgard and captain America

Word Count: 1.9k

A/N: Not entirely sure how I feel about this, I think I wrote out my Thor resources with Baby Fever, lol. However, this is for the lovely @warriorsacrifice , hope you like it! And honestly sorry if it’s complete shit!!!! (Also, let’s see who finds a line i sneaked in there…)
Request: Could i request thor and the reader going to a fair and she tries her hand at the (rigged) games and she looses each time and becomes upset and thor becomes mad and takes his anger out on one of the games causing her to win all the prizes?
(masterlist) // August posting schedule
~
It’s not often that you and Thor get time to yourselves. Between saving the world however many times necessary and dealing with mission reports, it’s hard to get a date night in.
So when he sees a flyer announcing a street carnival for the weekend on his latest grocery shopping run, he runs home with the paper clutched in his hand to show you.
“Y/N,” Thor’s voice booms as he comes through the door. “We’re having a date night.”
“Hello to you too, baby.” you say, amused by your boyfriend’s sudden entrance. “I haven’t seen you all day you know.”
Thor grins and bounds over to the couch where you’re sitting, leaning down to press a brief kiss to your lips. “Hello,” he murmurs against your lips. “We’re going on a date night.”
He takes the flyer out of his pocket and unfolds it, placing it into your awaiting hands.
“Street fair?” you ask. “You ever been to one of those?”
Thor shakes his head. “It does look quite fun, and we haven’t had time to ourselves in a while.”
You grimace as you think back to when was the last time you guys had an actual date. Sure, you see each other every day at work and hell, you live together; but there’s a big difference between spending nights upon nights just lying on the couch watching a movie and actually putting effort into planning an evening out and going through with it. Too many times have you guys made reservations at restaurants and not followed through, or maybe get excited about going out early in the day, only to feel too tired and lazy when the time comes for you to leave.
It’s a cycle that repeats itself much more than you’d like to admit.
“Okay, we can go.”
Thor’s smile is so big you’d almost think you told him you were pregnant.
~
“Come on,” you groan. “I know how to work a gun, why can’t I get this goddamn duck to fall off!?”
Thor chuckles behind you and steps closer, wrapping one of his strong arms around your waist as you slump against him, the plastic gun hanging loosely from your hands in defeat.
So far, the night has been great.
You and Thor arrived in the late afternoon and made a beeline for the food section of the fairgrounds, eating your weight in fried food and sticky, sickly-sweet desserts. After your food-coma had worn off enough that you could start walking, you set out to explore the rest of the fair. There’s a section for people to sell their handmade crafts; another section for the attendees of the fair to make their mark, using paint to decorate an enormous mural that will be displayed in the town hall. There’s a stage where musicians have been occupying for the past few hours, playing covers of well-known songs and some originals and, lastly, there’s the carnival games.
You’ve been trying your hand at them for the past thirty minutes but you can’t get one damn prize. You’ve tried tossing rings onto cones, shooting ducks and other animals with plastic guns - hell, you even tried dunking a clown into a vat of water - and none of it has worked.
You’re starting to think it’s rigged.
“This isn’t supposed to happen to a sniper.” You huff, putting the gun on the game shack counter, glaring at the lady behind it as she counts the money you gave her.
“Better luck next time, hun.” she hums, shrugging.
Thor knows you’re about to go off on this lady because he also knows the games are a joke, so he grabs you by the hips and gently leads you away from there. He places an arm over your shoulder and pulls you into his side, walking aimlessly through the fairgrounds. There’s a lot of people around, and they all look at him almost as if in awe, but he’s too busy thinking about how cute you look when you’re frustrated.
“Come on, love,” Thor says. “They’re just games.”
“Try telling that to the ten bucks I’ve spent in the past half hour.” you grumble. “I should be able to take down a cardboard duck. I’m a damn sniper.”
Thor’s laugh makes your lips curl up a little, your frustration dissipating.
“Would you like to try one more before we go home?” he asks after he quiets down.
His voice is gentle, and you know it’s because he understands that even if it’s just a game, you feel upset when you can’t do mundane things. Like shooting a cardboard duck with a plastic gun.
You’re looking around at the other games when your eyes zero in on the one you’re damn sure you’re going to win. You grab Thor’s hand and hurriedly pull him along behind you, hearing him apologize to the people he bumps into while trying to keep up with you.
When you come to a stop in front of the game shack, you already have the money it takes to play in your hands. The teenager manning the station jumps a little when you slam the bill down on the counter.
“Gimme a hammer.” you demand, a challenging look in your eyes.
The kid passes you one and sets a timer for one minute, and you let Thor’s hand go with a wink.
“Watch this, baby.” you wink at him, turning around when he responds to you with an encouraging smile and two thumbs up.
When the plastic moles come out of their hiding place, your mind focuses on taking each one of them down. You move quick, whacking each and every one of them with a force one could say was almost feral, the thunk of the plastic colliding with one another sounding like the sweetest music to your ears. Behind you, Thor cheers you on and helps you, little exclamations falling from his lips whenever he sees a new mole pop up.
The minute is almost over, the teenager giving you a warning that the last mole is about to appear. You raise the hammer high above your head, ready to get your goddamn prize, silently waiting for the plastic thing to show itself. When you see it out of the corner of your eye you bring the hammer down as hard as you can, almost worrying for a second that you’ve broken it.
The mole doesn’t go down.
There’s five seconds left on the clock and the mole isn’t. Going. Down.
“I think there’s something wrong with the game,” you say, hurriedly whacking the plastic animal, urging it to go down.
“You’re gonna have to hit it harder than that!” the teenager goads, laughing as you spend the last few seconds trying to get the mole to go down but to no avail. “Better luck next time.”
You turn back to Thor, pouting and ready to voice your frustration, when you see his jaw tick. His eyes are narrowed, and he’s looking at the game shack like he wants to set it on fire. You glance down at his hands and see the tell-tale blue light dancing between his fingers.
“Whoa there,” you put your hands on his chest, rising on your tiptoes to make him look at you. “Don’t get all thunder-god-crazy on me. You said it yourself: it’s just a game.”
Thor shakes his head and looks at the shack, then back down at you. “It wasn’t a fair game.”
“I know,” you pat his chest once. “But they’re all like that. I’m just mad I didn’t get a teddy bear.”
Suddenly, Thor straightens up, looking at the game shack with utter determination. “I’ll get you a teddy bear.” he mutters.
You watch him walk up to the counter and put some money down, barely glancing at the teenager when he takes the plastic hammer from him. Thor goes through a round of the same thing you went through, cursing under his breath when he can’t get the last mole to hide. The second round, he throws the hammer away and slams the plastic mole down with his bare hand.
The damn thing doesn’t budge.
You hide your face behind your hand in embarrassment at the loud yell Thor lets out.
“I can’t believe this!” he yells, then turns to the kid behind the counter, who’s now looking more scared by the second. “This is a trick!”
Your skin prickles with goosebumps, your hair standing a little higher with the electricity in the air. Thor’s back is tense, and his arms are at his side, fingers crackling with blue light once more. He’s mad.
“Thor, baby, let’s go home.” you urge him, walking closer and placing a hand on his back, your touch soothing his tense muscles. You’re aware of the people around you staring at the whole ordeal, so you have to act quick before Thor’s temper gets the best of him. “I can get a teddy bear somewhere else.”
Thor turns back to look at you, expression softening when he sees the concern in your eyes. His body is half turned towards you, one of his hands resting on the counter still, balled up in a tight fist. His biceps are straining the t-shirt he’s wearing.
“It’s just not fair.” he says, slamming his fist down on the counter.
Nobody has any idea how it happens, but it’s almost straight out of a cartoon. One moment, Thor’s fist is going through the wooden counter, and the next, the whole shack falls apart. It collapses in on itself, barely giving the kid in charge enough time to make his escape.
Dust kicks up as the whole thing falls to the ground, and you look at Thor in utter shock when it finally settles. You burst out laughing at the panicked look on his face, a deep blush creeping up on his cheeks when he realizes what happened.
The people around you stop what they’re doing and stare, watching you descend further and further into uncontrollable laughter.
You end up on your knees on the ground, one hand holding onto one of Thor’s, his body curved over yours to check that you’re not going crazy or dying from lack of air.
When you finally calm down, you notice people taking videos and others sifting through the wreckage to take whatever stuffed animal there is. Others are giggling, and you almost have another fit of laughter, though you’re not sure your stomach can take it.
Thor follows your gaze to what’s left of the shack and quickly steps away from you for a moment, returning with three giant stuffed animals. There’s a penguin, a polar bear and a snake.
“Reminds me of Loki.” he grins, handing you the snake.
He helps you up from the ground and watches with a bashful smile as you dust yourself off and look up at him, shaking your head in disbelief.
“What am I gonna do with you and your temper?” you laugh, smile widening when you see Thor duck his head down, avoiding your gaze. “Hey, no, it’s okay! You probably scared that kid half to death, though.”
Thor groans. “Don’t. I can already see the headlines tomorrow.”
You let out a cackle and loop your arm around his elbow, a tight fit due to the fact that he’s holding the penguin on the same side. You walk back home like that, you laughing every once in a while, thinking about Thor’s face after the whole thing went down. Thor just laughs along with you, though quietly, not wanting to remind himself of the embarrassment he felt in that moment.
Though when he sees you later that night, asleep on the couch with the stuffed snake clutched to your chest, he thinks losing his temper might not have been so bad in the end.

Love Me for Me ~Thor Odinson~
Warnings: Deaf!Reader (Cumbersome means big; bulky)
FLUFF, inspired by a video on YouTube. There is NO TALKING in this chapter.
You didn’t like people to know.
It was the biggest thing you were insecure about and you could do anything about it.
You tried hearing aids but the ones you tried were cumbersome and you hated that. You didn’t want or need to have the world know you were deaf.
But as you sat on a park bench, with earbuds in your ears so people wouldn’t talk to you, as you sketched.
The drawing wasn’t anything fancy. Just something you thought of. Some people would think it’s amazing, but you didn’t think that. It was just like your other ones. Unique and special.
You loved fairytales, you thought it was a home away from home. But you were so into your drawings that you hadn’t noticed the man who took a seat next to you, occasionally watching you draw.
When he spoke to you, you didn’t hear of course. Causing him to shift slightly awkward in his spot.
You sat for another couple of minutes drawing before you looked up to see him; causing you to jump slightly.
As he talked, you read on his lips that he had said hello.
So you waved back and gave him a smile.
He said something else that you could slightly read, so you took the sticky notes out from your folder for when you came to a situation like this.
‘Yeah, the weather is pretty nice isn’t it.’ You wrote.
The man smiled and replied.
‘What song are you listening to? Is it a good one?’
You bit your lip as you weren’t sure how to respond to him.
‘Uh… you could say that. The songs alright.’
The man looked slightly confused before he responded.
'Do you mind if I listen?’
You sighed as you were mentally preparing yourself to be tantalized.
You decided to just tell him and go so you wouldn’t have to face him as you folded the sticky note, and grabbed his hand before placing the note on his palm.
As you walked away, the man read the note and realization dawned on him. As he stood up, he ran over towards you and gently tapped your shoulder before talking to you.
In sign language.
“Hello, my name is Thor Odinson.” He has signed as a large smile has spread across your face.
“Hi, my names Y/N L/N.” You signed back.
“Would you like to walk with me?”
Instead of signing back in return. You just nodded happily.
•••••
3 hours.
That’s how long you walked together.
Signing back and forth and making each other laugh.
By the end, you have traded phone numbers and gotten yourself a date.
Thor even promised that he might be able to help you with your hearing, as apparently, he had a good friend who was smart in technology.
As you walked out of the park, you kissed him on the cheek goodbye, and happily walked home. Starting to think that maybe life wasn’t so bad after all.

Dear Mother,
Is hard for me pick up a pen and write you. Your name, your face, your voice are always been dearly kept into my heart. But, you know…it’s a sort of a Mother’s Day, here where I live now, dear Mom, and all I see today are lovely pictures and messages for all mothers.
And my heart breaks.
Because I’ve break yours.
I have loved you more than anyone else, more than my life itself…yet all I have brought you was pain, concerns, sorrows. I’d like to have you here, one more time,…the last time, to let you know how much my poor heart is full of love and gratitude for everything you’ve done for me. Always.
My last words for you were words of anger, resentment, fear. The last image of you in my head was your sad smile at my harsh words, then you’re faded away from me.
How could I have know that that was the last time I would have seen you?
People ask me about my insomnia, about my panic, and all of this mess have the same painful core: you, dear Mother.
Because I miss you.
I miss you.
I miss you.
I MISS YOU.
I’d like to hug you, I’d like to kiss your sweet forehead, I’d like to take you with me, and go for a long walk between the yellow roses, as we did at home. Do you remember, Mom? How beautiful was the roses, and how scented were the long, peaceful boulevards in the gardens…
I remember every single day spent with you,…your voice, your laughs, the songs you sang for me and Thor, the chats, the books you’ve read, the long lessons of magic. I won’t never forget the sparkle of pride and that joyful tear in your eyes that time I have performed my first magic trick, for you only. I was 7?…8 yo, maybe?
I miss you, Mom.
I hope you’re alright. I hope you’d forgiven me.
Have I never thanked you?
For everything. For your smiles and hugs. For teaching me things. For have making me the man I have become…before my life collapsed in a shattered pieces.
I didn’t wanted things to go that way, I swear you. Someone else has played with my life, all I have done was only defending me.
I LOVE YOU, MOM.
I love you as much as when I was your thin,“little blade of grass”,…as you loved to call me. Maybe even more.
And wherever you are…
…happy Mother’s Day, mom.
With all of my love.

Coffee Shenanigans ~Thor Odinson~ Part 1
Warnings: THIS TAKES PLACE AFTER INFINITY WAR
AN: This will be a series, I just don’t know how many parts, smut will be involved.
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 (idk how many parts)
The rain pounded hard against the cafe windows as you held the tan colored coffee mug in your hands. The steam rising into the air as you watched the thunderstorm take affect. You swore it would get worse and then calm down, but you were so intrigued by it that you didn’t see the man in a brown coat and grey t-shirt.
Ever since people “disappeared”, you couldn’t tell if it was a good or bad thing. There was less traffic after all the cars had been moved, the lines for gas and coffee were shorter, but you had lost members of your family and friends.
You fixed your earbuds and turned to the door when you heard the soft ding sound through the coffee shop. When you saw the man, he looked very tired and depressed. But so did everyone else these days, yet he was the lowest of the low you had seen. His beard was messy and he had lines on the side of his head where his short hair was uneven to other parts. But he was broad…..and you meant really broad. His bicep was probably as big as your head and from where you sat, one eye looked like a different color then the other.
You heard your food order go off and you slowly stood up, pulling one earbud out while keeping one in as you took your tomato soup and grill cheese. As you turned around, you heard loud footsteps but you didn’t think much of it until a loud sharp gasp erupted from your lips.
“Oh my god!!” You cried as hot soup spilled over your shirt and the person you ran into. “Jesus, I am…I am so…so sorry.” You mumbled as you bent foreword trying to separate your wet shirt from your body.
It’s…It’s fine. I should’ve watched where I was going.” The man said, and reality struck when you looked up to see the man you were staring at.
‘Remain calm…Is it just me or is he waaaayyyy hotter up close?’ You thought to yourself as your eyes scanned his features. “No, I was the one that turned around faster then needed. Guess I’m just hungry.” You rambled as you met eyes. ‘So they are different colors…’
“Let me pay for your meal, or get you a new one.” The man said as he looked around for napkins. “Or let me gibe you my jacket so you can cover up the stain.” He added while taking off his coat.
“No, you don’t have to do that. Either one of those options really.” You said as you couldn’t help but feel awkward.
“It’s quite alright. I can simple go buy another shirt.” He said as he draped his coat around your shoulders before covering the stain.
“Th-Thanks..” You whisper and blush as you’re not sure what else to say.
The man cleared his throat before he helped you pick up the fallen dishes and hand them to the waiters. “Uh..keep the jacket…I can always get another one.” He said as he scratched the back of his neck.
“Oh…okay. Thanks I guess.” You said.
“I’ll see you around maybe.” He said before turning around and leaving. You thought maybe that being around people just made him nervous, and you respected that, but you just wished you got his name.
