🐶 The sportsman’s repository London, Henry G. Bohn, 1845. Original source Image description: Black and white historical illustration titled “Fox Hounds” from 1845, depicting two active foxhounds in mid-run across a textured landscape. Both dogs are muscular with distinct black and white fur markings, focused intently ahead. In the background, a large pack of similar hounds follows, with two riders on horseback seen further back, suggesting a fox hunt scene. Rolling hills and a cloudy sky complete the outdoor countryside setting.
