@nsvdnb posted some early Bukem, specifically Demons Theme, and Music a few weeks back which got me thinking about artist, or points of artist output, where they were clearly giving no fucks about trends or what others where doing. It took me nearly 15 years to ID this after hearing it crackle through the static on a Sunday afternoon in 94 while doing my GCSE course work. The station was Radio Active (107fm) and Man like DJ Riddler mixed and Scratched his arse off to create one of the best Darkside sets I ever heard. Never managed to find the station or DJ again, but did see his name on a One Nation flyer as warm up a year or so later. Nuttah had the better vocal, or so chart ranking would suggest, but the bass and pitched "gangsta" used to slay me. It seemed to work like a hall pass for naughty behaviour to come out from the corner and take centre stage in any rave it was played at.
