Crybaby lil vi and caregiver jinx and cait who are just doing their best to work together (?) hcs..

Omg..... Yes

They aren't on the best terms but lil Vi needs both of them there or else she's bursting into tears..

And at bedtime they have to squish the baby between so they can sleep and sometimes when vi falls asleep first jinx and cait try to find something to chat about so they don't feel too awkward

Eventually they come up with a pretty good system together, falling into a routine even when Vi doesn't feel too little, almost friends but refusing to ever admit it

Little jinx who has bouts of insomnia... Goes days without sleeping an she gets soooo so upset about it, crying an sniffling and throwing tantrum and fits about how sleepy she is until her mommy wraps her up in a blankie, gives her a paci and somehow manages to rock her to sleep

Oh to be small enough to be picked up. Want for a caregiver to pick me up and place me on their hip as they go throughout their day. Wanna curl my little fingers in their shirt and rest my head on their shoulder. Wanna be bounced and held and kept close and feel safe and loved.

Sometimes I close my eyes and pretend really really hard that someone’s here to pick me up and take care of me

surprise surprise , asteria ! your secret santa’s sleigh has landed ! here’s my gift to them , one of the sweetest people i know . it’s been such a pleasure getting to know you , lovely ! hope you enjoy ! [ hcs are below the cut ]

— tw . . . self doubt , trauma , etc . i mean , it is jinx

— rarely is jinx’s regression something positive . to be honest , many times she’s the one at fault for triggering her regression . her mind wanders a million times a minute , thinking about what she once had and what could’ve gone differently . with everything , she instinctively associates regression with something negative

— bbbbut .. it’s a bit different when she regresses near someone else . she doesn’t feel as lonely . of course , she’s still herself — but , whoever carer it may be , does their best to erase those thoughts , even if they’re only gone temporarily

— sevika , ekko , and vi are her main caregivers

> it takes sevika a bit to understand why jinx is acting so ‘strangely’ . the first time jinx slips around sevika , she assumes the blue haired girl is playing some kind of prank on her . it wouldn’t be out of character for jinx , right ? over time , though , she warms up to this other side of jinx . sevika will even secretly look forward to it — don’t let anyone know that

> ekko does not understand it initially . he welcomes it , but does question jinx about what she is doing . this unintentionally pushes her away </3 but luckily , our boy is insistent and stubborn , he does not allow her to distance herself . even if he doesn’t understand her regression for a bit , he would still adore being with her . ekko truly loves seeing jinx happy

> you just know vi is all over a regressed jinx . it is an excuse to be the older sister she never truly got to be . vi will all to happily do any activity jinx wants , even if it includes scribbling all over her face . vi will walk out with cat whiskers or a mustache depending on jinx’s mood . some of their greatest memories are made during this time ! vi creates such a positive environment for jinx <3

— jinx needs constant reassurance from them . especially vi . jinx can’t help but feel like a burden x1000 when regressed

— jinx is allll about crafting , even more so at this time . she needs something to silence her head . her hands will be sticky with grease or glue depending on whatever she’s handling

— jinx is also extra vocal , oftentimes making no sense at all . she has so much to say and what feels like limited time ; her words will inevitably blend together in a jumbled mess

— carries her bunny plushie everywhere . and i mean everywhere . she feels so lost without it . yet admittedly , jinx will sometimes take her frustration out on the bunny , throw it against the wall or hit it . she feels horribly guilty every time . she’ll stroke its ears and mutter continuous , watery apologies

— she is a HOARDER ! snatching up random things in public , shoving them into her pocket

— gets attached to random inanimate objects . this useless , bent screw ? she will keep it close at all times . the most still she will be when regressed is staring at this screw . maybe one of her carers would even name it

i see vi as a younger regressor, 3-6(maybe a little smaller if she’s really upset)

absolutely the weepiest baby ever!!! stubbed her toe? sobbing. lost a stuffie? sobbing. caitlyn left the room for more than five seconds? full blown meltdown. “vi? baby what’s wrong? talk to me, talk to mama.” “m-mama left!!” “i just went to get you a snack darling, just like you asked.” “oh. i didn’t ’member.” “that’s alright little flower! everything’s alright now. mamas here.”

caitlyn calls vi baby, darling, lovely, my violet, little flower. vi calls caitlyn mama or caitcait if she’s feeling really silly :)

caitlyn knows that vi didn’t have a lot when she was a kid, so she ends up spoiling her constantly, buying every little thing her baby asks for! “mama? can-can i have this stuffie? pleasesee?” “if i’m remembering right, i bought you three at the festival last week, lovely.” “but, but,” “…i guess you have been a good girl.” “yay!!!!!”

vi loves pillow/blanket forts so much!!! caitlyn had posts installed in little! vi’s bedroom just so vi could have a safe enclosed space to regress and play. more often than not caitlyn ends up curled up in a blanket nest with vi in her arms.

caitlyn loves her little girl, she really does. but if vi keeps leaving her toy cars all over the floor she might just go insane. she can’t bring herself to punish vi though, she just puts them away and resolves to look where she’s walking(she never does).

when vi gets really upset or triggered, she’ll regress into babyspace. caitlyn hates to see her so upset, but loves being even closer with her baby!!! “abababa!” “is that right lovely? such a smart little girl!” “ah! amadama!” “your bottle is almost ready violet, i promise.”

vi is such a picky eater! caitlyn has her chefs make countless things to satisfy her, but eventually she figures out that little vi will only eat zaunite food. she ends up sending runners for jericho’s multiple times a week(she tips generously enough that he opens a second location closer to her!)

when vi first started regressing openly, caitlyn insisted that vi quit her job(“no little girl of mine needs to go to work. i just need you healthy and happy.”). vi was resistant at first, still somewhat ashamed of her neediness, but caitlyn managed to convince her how much both of them needed it.

even when she’s at the older range of her regression, vi still ends up using her pacis a lot. it just makes her feel so safe! and the way caitlyn coos and babies her when she sees it just makes her head even fuzzier :)
