I don't know how else to voice this beyond: you can be mediocre

You can start something just because, you are allowed to be bad at something and not trying to be better nor master it. You are allowed to play the game you are bad at, to try a new hobby and be a menace at it. Do you enjoy it? That's enough! No need for more!

It doesn't mean absolutely anything about your value. Being good or bad at something doesn't make you any better or less. You are valuable just by existing, your worth doesn't depend on anything

Better to accept how you feel and think, than to fight against them. Most of the times, looking endlessly anxiously for whys, won't actually make you feel safe

Once you accept them, you can decide what to do and accept the past won't change, but you can do things on the present

I think everyone should be allowed to feel and think whatever

Like, intrusive thoughts exist, some reactions are truly absolutely irrational and part of the subconscious, and that's totally ok

What matters is what you decide to do with that. Feeling or thinking doesn't make you inherently good or bad (which is by itself and all or nothing category, people are gray)

People will think and feel their own stuff, and it can make you think or feel unpleasant things, but what matters is what you decide to do with that

You don't have to force yourself to bounce back so quickly. I read something recently that said "when you come in from a rainstorm, you don't expect yourself to be dry and warm right away", and it really resonated with me. It's okay to take time to dry off and warm up. Take the time you need to process what happened to you.

Normalize having emotions, even the “bad” ones, but choosing to act on them in NON-DESTRUCTIVE ways!

It's okay to be angry! It's okay to be sad! It's okay to be jealous!

Manage them when needed, but you're not immoral or wrong for feeling unpleasant emotions, even if they're uncomfortable to feel.

Don’t let others—or yourself—convince you that you’re a bad person for simply feeling things :)
