10/10 best part of nico's narration is when he talks about the first time he met percy, and he makes it sound like percy was really confident and brave and knew what he was doing in those scenes, but then you reread the same scenes from percy's perspective and see that. that boy was an Anxious fucking Mess. "but percy came out of the shadows and saved me & my sister!!! 🤩" Percy forgot to tell the rest of his questmates where he was going, spent the entire time fretting about how he was going to get yelled at by thalia after this, almost dropped his weapon, insulted the monster attacking you and your sister like 3 times in one sentence, and tried to convince you guys to jump into the ocean with him in a last-minute escape attempt because he forgot you guys didn't know he was a half-blood and would obviously assume he was trying to get you killed. he really had no idea what he was doing, bless his heart my favorite fumbling eighth grader ever

Recently I read a fanfic on AO3 called Interlude - Class 1-A by @itslivybear and was inspired a bit to write a fic based on that! Well really I got inspiration for a single line (you'll know it when you see it) and then had to write a whole thing to be able to share that one line, but oh well. This is my first time writing a chatfic or even any BNHA content at all, so I hope it doesn't suck! Thanks to @shadesofflame for being an awesome beta!

Gaara has a primal kink awakening.

Naruto has been acting funny for a couple days and Gaara goes to see what's up. When he gets to Naruto's place, he's hunched over, messy hair and piercing red eyes stare back at him. He's goes to ( comfort? Restrain? ) him but gets tackled. Gaara used sand to put basically mittens on his hands and while Naruto is on top of him, something hard pokes at his thigh.

Looks back up and eyes are a bit softer now. Still overtaken by the red, Naruto is wild, panting and horny. Humping his leg and licking at Gaara's neck. He's almost purring like Naruto got his treat. Leaving Gaara to process what the hell is happening with him and how much of Naruto is still being careful with him.

Ooooo I dunno how Gaara would handle Naruto in a situation like that. I think he’d be so sweet and try to calm Naruto down cuz he’s worried about his mental state but Naruto isn’t complaining, he’s loving the gentle hand in his hair and Gaara’s soothing low voice say his name over and over again. I think Naruto would be needy but careful. He’s aware enough that he doesn’t wanna hurt Gaara but he’s also absolutely fucking that man crazy when he finally gets to sink his cock inside him

wait……thinking about little twelve year old annabeth blushing and “hyperventilating” around luke... we know she lost the dgaf war ages ago but like. that’s so funny. and i know that’s her in her little puppy love crush phase or whatever but now i’m just imagining annabeth reacting the same way around percy and he’s so baffled by it. he’s used to “cool girl” annabeth who gets shit done and is rather blunt with him and has her moments of vulnerability around him but she’s always somewhat composed through it all. and now suddenly she can’t meet his eye and her cheeks are so red and he’s absolutely lost abt it LMAO

he passes by annabeth without a second thought, his hand just barely grazing her back, and suddenly she’s got butterfingers and drops the box of beads for arts and crafts all over the place. he stops and doubles back to help her clean up but she steps back onto the beads and her foot slips out from under her and she almost eats shit. he catches her and she reacts so viscerally she ends up elbowing him in the nose and dragging both of them down to eat shit. oh she’s utterly humiliated BAHHAHAHA she catches herself giggling at one of his jokes one time and is horrified by it. she’s losing her aura so bad she’s gotta lock in

she learns that if she keeps her eyes off of him then she can keep most of her composure. so when percy hits her with that “don’t i get a kiss for luck? it’s kind of tradition…” she keeps her eyes FIRMLY on the army of monsters to respond nonchalantly. but trust the second she was alone with michael again, she dropped her dagger and had to take a quick lap before locking in again
