Sidereal Confluence: Trading and Negotiation in the Elysian Quadrant sounds like a game that would be made up for a sitcom episode where the b-plot is the nerdy side character got invested in a massively overcomplicated board game and the entire joke is that everyone else falls asleep whenever they try to explain it which makes it even more funny that it's a real game that exists and actually looks pretty fun

just picked up wyrmspan today and im genuinely shocked by the build quality. this is the nicest board game ive physically owned i think. the cards are wrapped like LITTLE HOTEL SOAPS and it has TINY SPECKLED EGGS and it has a BESTIARY i want to chew on this entire game /pos
