After seeing Sinners, loving it to pieces, I had to do something. Jack stole the show for me.
I got all these ideas for Remmick. So I decided to write a story for him. While writing it I may use elements from Jackâs other roles.
When the Past Clings to the Present

ââMy 1st attempt at writing Remmick.
I feel bad. Remmick is on pause. Life got in the way. But I will continue.

I still loving Jack OâConnell, after seeing Bone Temple, I just adored him Sir Lord Jimmy Crystal. So I came up with a story for him.

So with some reluctance because I am a fan of Michael Fassbender and now Jack, I watched Eden Lake. Brett fascinates me. I came up with an idea for him. I am currently running with it. If you donât like Brett, please donât readâŠbut if you do, give my story a chance.
đđ»So below is the master list for Brett!đđ»

Wrapped in a towel you padded back to your room sometime later. You felt more awake, more clear headed than you had been at breakfast.
Going over to your nightstand, you glanced at your phone. No messages from Brett or your cousin. You shrugged. He had mentioned something about forced to do something with his father. The less time you spent around that man, the better. He was awful.
You were not terribly concerned; about Paige, since her and Rickey were now an item. You figured they would want to spend as much time as they could together.
Feeling more at home, you decided it was you time you finally explored more of Eden Lake. Some of those boutiques had caught your eye, now youâd go to them. Maybe youâd find something cute.
******
Happily, you skipped down the stairs, managing to skip the especially loud one.
âJellybean? Where are you off to?â
Your mom came into the living room with a box under her arm. You rocked on your heels.
âFigured, Iâd go and check out some of the shops.â Raising an eyebrow, you pointed to the box she rested on her hip. âWhat else needs unpacking?â You thought she had finally finished.
She shrugged. âItâs so lovely here. I thought, I do some watercolors.â
You smiled broadly. âOh! You will have plenty to inspire you.â
âI think so. The sunsets have been amazing.â
******
With a squeeze and a promise of not getting home terribly late, you were on your way. Walking by Brettâs you noticed his fatherâs van was missing from the driveway. He had mentioned once or twice being dragged on repair jobs, he did around town in between the poker nights and the days in the mine. Itâs what his father did, it kept the man out of Brettâs and his motherâs hair. This must have been one of those times, you only hoped he wasnât being too much of a jerk to Brett.
Continuing on your way you enjoyed the peace of it all. The sun was warm, birds were chirping. You could have sworn, you had seen a woodchuck waddle back into the forest, you mused with a smile. There was barely any of this quiet, where you grew up. It had was nice enough. You missed the closeness to the city but you were really beginning to enjoy it here.
*****
A sharp whistle sliced through the air and gravel crunched. You looked around startled, your heart slamming against your chest. A shabby, rusty pick up truck pulled up very close to where you stood. Heat came off it in waves, the smell of oil assaulted your nose. Despite your discomfort you felt; you pushed it aside and would act like nothing happened. So you rolled your eyes and kept on walking.
A wet laugh came from the truck you assumed. The creaked and groaned; rolling closer to you.
âNot gonna say hello, pretty girl?â
You walked faster. Looking ahead you saw the edge of town. You were almost there.
The engine revved and groaned; dirt small rocks getting kicked up as it cut across your path. A dust cloud came over you. Squinting, you realized he had managed to pull right in front of you. You leapt backwards, when you realized he had not only blocked your path but alot close than you realized. Annoyance and anger boiled in you.
âAw, comon baby after all I saw you do on the beachâŠâ
Your eyes settled on the man. Your stomach turned sharply. His scratchy, voice faded and was replaced with a wide, wet grin that spread across his greasy face.
âI thought youâd at least say hello; forget that young prick. I can show you a much better time if you climb up in here and straddle my lap; you sweet little thing.â He sneered, sucking on his teeth.
âFuck off, creep!â You yelled.
You managed, before taking large, fast strides around the truck. Breathless, you did so before getting into town proper. Sweat pearled at your hairline. You dashed into the first store, you spotted. A bell announced you, not caring; you lingered by the entrance to watch as the truck rambled on by.
*******
âItâs on the house sweetheart. The men around here are brutes, all of them.â
The old womanâs warm, withered hand gently patted yours. She passed the brown paper bag with the dress neatly folded inside.
âOh? Maâam, I mean Clara, I donât know what to say.â You smiled with furrowed brows at her kindness.
âYes, that is Clara girl.â She gave a false stern look. âAfter dealing with that jerk you deserve a little something. Now, you just go and be safe.â
You had looked over the wide assortment of dresses, lifting and inspecting many different styles and colors. Some accessories clanked and clicked as you tried on some fun bangle bracelets. So many items. It was a polka dotted dress that had caught your eye. You would bring your mom back for her. You were certain she would adore Clara.
With a spring in your step, the bag swishing by your side you decided you would go down to the lake. Enjoy the beauty of it and then maybe check on Brett. You wondered if he knew about his and Rickeyâs escapades with the cars got into the papers.
Once there you smiled. It would be nice leaving near such a great spot. Going down, closer to the lake you slipped out of your shoes and placed the huge brown paper bag down on the soft sand.
Hearing a branch snap, you stopped and looked behind you. No one was there. Your heart kept a steady pace. That jerk had been enough for one day.
After, you didnât see anything for a good moment, you finally waded out to the cool water of the lake. The water made you squeal at first but then you giggled as the water lapped gently at your knees.
Once back at your bag, you drew your knees up and sat there looking out. You refused to think of that jerk. Hopefully, youâd never see him ever again.
You also refused to not think too hard on what happened this weekend. Drinking and pills, were not your thing. Well, to be fair drinking was fun when it tickled your nose. You did wonder if pills were this thing. You would not let your imagination run wild with what did for that old man and his cohorts in the city.
A chill came over you, making you hug yourself a little tighter. Looking, in front of you it dawned on you that it wasnât a chill. A shadow had fallen over you. You glanced up, expecting a large cloud passing in front of the sun. It wasnât.
But a scream erupted from you as you immediately turned and twisted, scrambling in the sand to get away from the man hanging over you.
âHi baby.â He licked his lips. âI Knew youâd come here.â He winked.
âStay the fuck away from me.â You backed up. You desperately reached onto pockets of shorts. Nothing was there. You saw the surface of your phone glimmer in the sand beside the brown bag.
The man cackled. âNah, no calling that punk. Iâm going to show you what a real man is made of.â
He reached for you. You managed to escape his filthy hands, tumbling back but not falling into the sun.
Turning your feet sunk into the sand as you turned to run. You heard a loud wet, sound followed by a tumble, reminded you on the time a sack of potatoes you had carried for your mom fell to the kitchen floor.
Looking back, you saw as Brett straightened himself after having swung a branch of some kind and the jerk in a heap lying on the ground.
âBrett?â
His eyes were dark, as he looked over at you a sneer curled his lips.
âHi baby.â
*******
The man wiggled against the tree, but he barely budged, Brett had tied him tightly to it
"She's a young girl." Brett walked up to the man.
Your heart skipped a beat, as you watched him reach into his pocket. you knew what it was. His knife gave sharp metallic click as it was released.
âYeee are fuckin pervert.â Brettâs squeezed from his mouth. âSpying on her from the bushes.â
A tremble came over the man.
"Cat got your tongue? Or do I?â
As blood trickled from his temple as he looked at Brett spoke to him
âHuh?â The man managed.
âI guess I do.â
Moving quickly, far too fast for you to realize what he was about to do, till you watched as a portion of the manâs tongue fell onto his lap. Blood, poured from the manâs mouth, muffling any scream. He wiggled more violently against the ropes.
Your stomach turned, you swallowed the bile that reached your mouth. The a t itself was sickening but the man had been so awful. Also realizing he had been watching you for quite awhile also made you ill. You were not entirely disturbed by what Brett was doing.
âBrett?â Rickey spoke up, bringing you from your thoughts âI thought we were just going to beat him up.â
Sharply, Brett turned to his friend.
âJust beat him up?â
He drew close to Rickey. Rickeyâs shoulders slumped.
Brettâs fingers smudged red, his knife glistening. âHe spied on her.â Knife in hand he pointed at you. âOn us, and nearly ran her off the road with that piece of shit truckâ
The man sputtered behind him.
Brett, immediately returned to him. Not waiting for what Rickey was going to say.
He cackled. Reaching down he picked up the fallen bit of the manâs tongue.
He held it up, smirking. âWere you going to say something?â He tilted his head to one side, the sneer still curling his lips.
âFuckth you.â The words barely there. But anyone listening, knew what he said.
Brett, threw the bit at him. Kneeling down, he just began stabbing him. The man, eventually still and wilted against the rope restraints.
He stood back and looked at the man. You came up behind Brett, he flinched as you wrapped your arms around his middle. But his body soon relaxed.
âWell, he wonât be bothering me again.â And you pressed a kiss to his lips.
âNo one will ever bother you.â

You stood off to the side. Everything tingled within you, you suppressed a giggle. The colorful lights were more vivid, you caught yourself smiling as billows of glitter floated from the ceiling. It made all of this feel magical; you reached up into a cloud of the glitter. You smiled broader.
Feeling amazing, you didnât resist the urge to twirl. You would go and tell Brett how happy, how good you felt. You stopped abruptly in your steps when you spotted two birds near him.
His partially faced them as he leaned against the bar. His attention appeared divided between the bartender and them. Your heart lurched, as you caught sight of one of them giggling to something he appeared to have said. Her friend nudged her when she saw you. Together they shared a glance before looking at you. One took a sip from her drink, while the other one continued to giggle.
Brett moving, caught your eye and you over at him. The bartender came over; you watched as they passed a rather elegant to him. Turning, he gave you a wide crooked smile while holding it up.
âCome over baby.â His voice cut through the club and reached you.
You came over, he stopped leaning against the bar to stand before you. âLook what me boss got us? Champagne, baby.â
He took a sip, gasping with a sigh of contentment. His breath cool. He pressed the cold bottle into your hand. âYour turn.â
You beamed. âCheersâ Being near close to him you felt better. You took a solid swig.
He chuckled. âLook at you.â He grinned, looking very pleased.
You flushed. You watched in delight as his Adamâs apple bobbed as he tilted his head back up taking another swig from the bottle. You loved to run your tongue up his throat. You delighted in how he tasted.
âI better catch up.â You whispered.
You took another solid drink from the bottle. His thumb grazed your bottom lip, he licked it.
âYou and champagne, nice.â
You flushed. âGet me out there or I may wilt away.â You gesture to the dance floor.
A warmth and the tingle of the golden bubbly liquid fully enveloped you. A soft pout formed on your lips.
âOh? Oh, oh will you?â
âYes.â
âGonna get me a drink, honey?â
Your stomach churned at her words as Brettâs face twisted. Looking past him to the birds from moments prior.
âNo.â
He turned back to you.
âWhat last time you were here I was good enough to gobble on ya cock, baby. But now you bring a pretty girl and I no longer matter?â Her sharp words hit your ears.
You squeezed your eyes shut for a moment to repress the image you mind conjured. You took a deep breath, a rage erupted deep inside. You felt as it filled you. Perhaps, it was because you never got to tell Lexi off for all the times you either caught her blowing the guys you liked or hearing about it later. But you had enough.
Looking past Brett, you met that ugly, catty birdâs eye.
âHe doesnât need your used up mouth now.â
You turned sharply, weaving and gliding till you found a place where the dance floor was thick with bodies moving to the clear, steady beat of the music.
Your heart slammed against your ribs. Your stomach knotted. Never had you spoken or been that angry towards another person before. Everything in you tingled, as you managed to hold onto the cool bottle of champagne. The golden liquid sloshed around.
You moved and swayed, letting the beat of the music move you. Wrapping your lips around the bottle once more you took a heart sip. Then without even thinking about it prior, you let out a howl. You looked back to here you had unleashed your rage.
Anger had washed over Brettâs face from what you could see. The girls, the stupid birds who had probably thought they were better than you, looked uneasy. You felt victorious. You continued to dance.
Closing your eyes, you inhaled the hot sticky air you let your body move as it wished. You felt free.
âFound you baby.â His voice sharp, deep as it cut through all of it. You felt as he pulled you against him. He moved with you.
You moved with him. Letting yourself go, you relied depended on his solid frame.
You donât know how long after that but you did turn and look at him.
âFuckin in the past.â
You offered him the bottle.
He drained what remained.
âWeâre the future.â
âOnly fucking way to be.â
You kissed him then. As hungry and as full of everything you had in you.
******
You were certain there was at the very least one more bottle of champagne though two you felt more accurate. The lights were a swirl of color. You longer felt they were different distinct colors slicing through the dancers and the dj below. Those bitter pills had stopped being bitter by the last time, he placed the third or fourth one on your tongue followed by a sharp hungry kiss.
In the blur city lights and a cool, refreshing breeze that tried to give you an embrace upon entering and exiting a taxi brought giggles out of you as you and Brett hurried through the hotel lobby, to get to the lift that would usher the two of you to your floor.
You barely slid the lock into place as Brett pressed you against the wall kissing and grabbing at you. You kissed him back, your heart had not stopped thumping hard against your chest. As your breath shorten, moans were your answer his touch, his bites.
He walked you towards the bed. His hands and lips roaming over you till your knees buckled and you fell onto the bed, you managed to slip your heels off. You shimmed up the bed, he was on top of you. His weight heavy, a delicious feeling. His dark mysterious scent that was him alone mixed with his crisp cologne and the scent of the champagne clung to him. You clawed at his clothes. Suit jacket was gone, tie was loosen further and tossed behind the two of you.
You wanted to feel see him. His hands worked on you as well. Your dress bunched up and resting on your hips, you barely felt the tug but your panties were off and somewhere.
The clink of his belt, rasp of his zipper sharply contrasted the moans and shortness of your breath. You watched as he took himself out, he was very aroused. His tip rosy and glistening with some of the precum that had already had already dribbled in his excitement.
A moan poured from your lips even before he entered you. The exquisite pleasure that ripped through you, bordered on pain with its intensity as he filled you. The mixture of the champagne and whatever those little pills were made everything far more intense than it had ever been between you.
Once he stretched you, and rutted against him; deeper than he had ever been he stopped.
His eyes were dark, unwavering fiery. Yet you didnât flinch, nor look away.
âFillin, you good with my cock. â
You swallowed, nodding.
He drew close, his cheek brushing yours. His breath once again warm as he spoke in your ear. His words sharp.
âYouâll never take another. Youâre mine.â
Your body clenched, making you whimper in pleasure.
âI am. And I never will.â
He began to slide easily, in and out. Your body slick with the sensation and of the promise you made.
For the briefest of moments, your mindâs eye betrayed you. Visions of Lexi, the bird at the bar and any random girl; it decided to throw at you images of him entwined with them in some explicit way. You reacted, you wrapped your legs tighter around his waist pulling him deeper with each thrust he made. Your fingers ran through his brown strands.
âBrettâŠâ
Licking your lips, a moan broke free, silencing your words for a moment as his grip on your tighten as he drew his face up to look at you as you spoke.
âMy body is for you whenever. Never, will you have to be wander to get off.â
A smirk, curled his lips.
âI only want to fill your belly or pussy with my cum.â
He nibbled hard on your lips. âI have since the first moment you were knelt in front of me.â
âOhâŠâ You gasped, trembling under him.
âYeah, I could have fucked you right then good and proper. Like I am now.â
You erupted then under him then whatever had been pulling you taunt then snapped and in a gush came hard around his hardness.
It wasnât long before he arched against you, fingers of one hand digging into your hip. The other gripping the bed post to anchor him as he hung there above you. The first spurts of him made you whimper and moan for him again.
Sleep, dark and velvety soft pulled you in. You were both breathless, limbs entangled as the passion began to calm between the two of you.
*******
You moved around the round colorful rings of your cereal bowl, you were grateful that your head no longer throbbed like it had for almost the entirety of Sunday.
You were already asleep but had stirred from its depths when you had heard your dad cut the engine of the car once he had parked in the driveway. Or the hushed voice of your mom when she ducked her head into your room the check on you.
âJellybean, Jellybean?â
Your momâs words cut through the sleepy haze that still clung to you.
âOh? Oh, Iâm sorry mom. What did you want.â
âHad you heard about this?â Your momâs brow was knit together with worry. She pointed the larger than life headline that read.
New residents express doubts!
Family car stolen, realtorâs car stolen. No clues, no leads.
You shrugged. âWe ordered in and rented some movies, and yesterday popped down to the lake for finally a swim.â You shrugged. âScary mom. These new people might be bringing in bad people.â
âBut Jellybean that happened to them, they didnât do anything.â
âThat we know of.â You finally scooped up the colorful rings and ate them.
âYouâre right. Could be them deflecting something bigger.â
Glancing at your mom you saw as she chewed her bottom lip.
âYou and the others stay safe. Stay clear of those new developments.â
âOf course mom. Brett and I have absolutely no interest in them.â

A rise, that over looked most of the valley remained unguarded much to your relief. You all laid on your stomachs and watched the farmhouse. You looked through some lenses Jimmy had. Things grew closer when you looked through them.
You swallowed the bile that rose hotly in your stomach when you saw of the people who had rained down their wrath on you and those who cared to turn a cheek.
You pointed out the ones you saw. Your head pounded in beat with your heart. It did not feel like calming anytime soon.
Jerry, you saw who loved treating you like a cat playing with a mouse; still crouched, laid by the gate. Seeing Rob you grew cold, you shivered. But you continued to watch as he came out and chopped some wood which he brought in and it wasnât long before smoke puffed from the chimney. Mary and Jane you saw bring in some clothes that had been drying on a line. Jane, had a limp now. You wanted if that was from conflict or if she had replaced you in the fun the boys aptly called what they did to you. You saw Michael has he brought in what looked like a deer. Damn, that was one of the few things you had missed. The occasional meal a deer could bring. No price they mad you paid had been worth it.
You turned to Jimmy and gave him the lenses back.
âTheyâre there. Possibly smaller group now. But he remained with his best.â You sneered.
*******
The fire crackled, the night felt especially dark, except for the moon. Usually, youâd see the twinkling of the stars but there were hardly any.
âNow, that weâve ate. Old Nick wants you all to know what is happening tomorrow.â
You glanced back at Jimmy before looking back at the others. A hush, fell over them. You could have sworn that when Jimmima looked up from her broken plate her iridescent wings fluttered as she gave Jimmy her attention. It was as they were truly part of her.
âAlright, lass tell them.â He shifted where he sat.
You swallowed, you had never shared. Inwardly, you trembled at the memories. Even when it came to Jimmy; he saw more than what he knew.
âMany seasons ago, I lost my mum and sis. I was hiding in my primary school when a fairly large group swept through the area when found me. When they splintered. I chose the wrong side.â
You took a sip from your dented canteen. Having it still comforted you, it had belonged to your pa. But your memories of him were fuzzy.
âI chose the side with a cute, funny lad. His father had been a strong and led well. I didnât think anything could go wrong.â
You grimaced.
âThe cute lad and his mates were a handful of years older than me. They had always been witty and strong. Heâs find and sneak me extra sweets, there was a moment when he even gave me the better shirt. I felt like I had a second chance at a home.â You sighed, as your heart lurched.
âBut then one stormy night, the group was ravaged by another group and, and those that had lost all sense. They used them like attack dogs. I still donât know how.â
You swallowed, shrugging at the memory of that night.
âThings eventually settled down after that attack but were never the same. Most of the comforts came back; there were plenty of them. Food and drink were secured but our numbers were low. A fear gripped everyone.â
You twisted the cap of your canteen and took a sip. You looked past them all into the endless dark of the night before continuing.
âThat was when my place in the group changed. I became the toy, the object of amusement for Rob and his mates.â
âWhat the fuck does that mean?â Inkâs sharp voice cut through the night, through the silence.
âI, I had mistaken all of his behaviors towards me as affection as someone who would protect me from the evils that ravaged the world.â
Once again you pressed your lips together.
âAfter the attack everyone was on edge, trust was sparse. Life became rougher, so him and the mates took their frustrations out on me violently and otherwise.â
âOtherwise?â Jimmima her words came out as a strained hiss.
âSexually. They terrified me.â
A dark smile crossed her face. âWith St. Nick guiding us, they will know what violence feels like.â
âHe craves blood to be split in his name. I have seen the scars they left behind.â
His voice grew rougher than you heard before. You heard as he shifted behind you, it was not long till you then felt his warm hands on your shoulders. Long ago you learned not to flinch so you didnât.
You glanced back at him. Remembering all of this made you feel ill.
âOld Nick, brought her to us. We will serve them charity in the most exquisite way.â His crooked smiled reached both sides of his face.
You glanced down, still not knowing exactly what he meant by what he meant by charity. At the very least, he mentioned that blood would be split. If you had to do it yourself, it would Rob; youâd make him suffer.
*******
Startling awake, blinking you looked into the much diminished but still steady fire. After planning an elaborate and quite involved plan for tomorrow; all of you had finally turned in for the night. You were excited to see the ruthlessness you and the others would never see coming.
Ink was fast asleep with an arm tossed over her eyes. So Jimmima but she was curled into a small ball, impossibly smaller than she was. You heard them hut couldnât see the other two. They didnât matter.
You rolled back to where Jimmy laid, you smiled you found Jimmy on his back.
Hair, messy and still fluffy from the washing it, fell into his closed eyes. His features were soft, softer than when he was awake. For a moment, you paused you remembered stories of the days from before.
You swallowed. No time for softness. Your stomach was still knotted and churning for what laid ahead tomorrow. Carefully, you moved closer to where he slept. You needed to expel your energy, your focus needed to be sharp.
Drawing close to him, you laid a hand on Jimmy. You gently worked your hand on his thigh. Your heart began to pick up speed.
âJimmy.â You whispered. âI need you.â
Your heart threatened to break. You had never been this bold, you drew your hand drift up till where his length was already half hard. It made you smile. You rubbed him firmer through the soft, worn purple track pants. A soft gasp came from him, as he remained asleep.
âJimmy.â You whispered this time, giving him a squeeze.
You gasped as slender fingers wrapped around your wrist. You looked up, his eyes met yours. Despite his grip on your wrist you continued to touch him.
A soft, deep sound came from him as he licked his lips. You gripped him firmer. âI need you. But we got to be quiet.â
He nodded. âQuite the lass you are.â He whispered.
*******
Somehow, you both in the light of the moon found a place. It was apart from the others but you could see the orangey flames flicker and dance. Your lips were hungry when they met each other. Your tongues danced around each other. In a breath, you let out a sharp whimper, he broke the kiss by yanking your hair back.
âI would have slit your throat, if I had not smelled your sweet scent lass.â His breath warm, as he spoke.
In a sliver of moonlight, you could see the edge in his eyes. You were breathless and all a tingle with how he looked at you.
âThen, I suppose I will have to wake yee with yee cock in mi mouth.â
Easily, you imagined what you had just said, and felt your need for him grow. A chuckle came from him, as his grip on your hair softened. âGo and lay down.â He let go of you.
Nodding, you did as he said and soon shimmed free of your pants. Even the obscured moonlit you saw his crocked smile.
He knelt between your legs. âI would have certainly regretted killing yee.â
Shifting closer, you felt as he slid his tip at the apex between your legs.
âFuck.â The word sounding like it came from the depths of him. âYee, are soaked. Yee want me to fuck you lass?â His lips curled into a smirk.
âYes.â You licked your lips and gasped, as he filled you completely.
His words were a jumbled, he was incoherent. As he braced himself on soft ground. Meeting your eyes, you practically gave each other an unspoken kind of permission to let yourselves go.
He removed his shirt, yours. Your bodies moved together, you gripped onto him, as your mouths drowned the moans that were pulled from the two of you.
You had thought earlier he would tear you apart but now you were certain of it. There was no gentleness between you.
You barely felt as your pleasure built up before it finally tore at you. You arched against him, as you felt him fill you. His own deeper, guttural moans mingled with your own as they poured over your lips.
********
Relief kept you as the day began then remained much cooler than the previous. It was easier to focus on what was ahead.
The field still was filled with lavender blossoms, sweetening their air with their scent. You paused. You let your fingertips graze their fragrant tips. You plucked a cluster of blossoms, tucking them behind an ear. The others continued their steady stride.
You finally stopped all together. Your feet felt heavy. You felt ill, your body rocked hard with a tremble. You had never wanted to return.
âLass?â
Jimmyâs voice sounded far away, if you moved you were afraid the illness you felt would take ahold.
âMy wee lass.â You distantly felt his hand as it ghosted your back.
You blinked, looking up. He towered over you, his brow furrowed.
âJimmy.â His name a murmur you managed.
âWeâre here?â
You nodded.
âGood.â
You barely noticed as he motioned to the others. They came up along side of you, like dark shadows. You made out their shapes from under your hair that fell into your eyes as you continued hold onto your thighs. The posture gave you some kind of stability to keep from falling over. You inhaled deep breaths.
Ink, laid a cool hand on your shoulder. âYeee alright?â
You managed a nod, giving her a sidelong glance. âI never wanted to return to this place, ever.â
She gave you a dark grin. âCharity and old Nick will send them off.â
âMay it be what is needed.â
Jimmy made a sound, you couldnât make sense of but a crooked smile was across his face.
âOld Nick, is eager what we will give them.â
âSee that gate, in the middle of low stone wall?â
Ink, nodded.
âOne will be lying on his back beside that stupid little gate. If we grab him, we can startle them.â
Snake snickered. âReady Fox?â
âYes.â
His laziness led to his easy capture. The two easily dragged him to his feet despite the fight he tried to give. He had been more often as the time went on to hold you down while punishments had been ripped across your back. The dirty rag, they tied hastily around his mouth muffled his protests.
Once secure in their tight grips, you walked over. You looked up at him. He had grown lean, almost hollow but when he saw you his eyes grew. He huffed and puffed against the gag. You smiled.
âHello Jerry.â He flinched as you patted his cheek. âRemember, the wench board?â You smiled. Sheâs back.â
âYou lot tried to break me, break my spirit. But today, as Old Nick guides me;â
Pausing, you glanced over at Jimmy, who looked pleased, proud even. So you continued.
âYou will feel his wrath and mine for the scars you left.â

Your heart skipped a beat, watching as he approached. His knife gave sharp metallic click as it was released from being locked.
âDid you really think its ok, to be spying on her in the bushes?â
A tremble came over the man as he shook his head.
âWhat?â He grabbed the short hairs and pulled so the man had to look him in the eye. âDidnât fuckin hear ya?â
The man let out a sharp yelp. âNo, no.â
Itâs a roller coaster for Brett and his gal after they return from the big cityâŠeverything is different after that night. Iâve been working on it and editing it..refining some moments.
