I'm not trans, so grain of salt with this reply, but I think the show itself treats Jax with a lot of empathy and care. She isn't predatory in the show (? Where is this coming from?), but she does bully others because of her avoidant tendencies that get worse and worse the longer she represses her "true feelings" (about being trans, and other things) -- if anything, the show seems to suggest that she would be a lot more emotionally regulated if she were to accept herself and come out. I have my issues with the finale and with the show itself, but what they were trying to do with Jax seems like it comes from a very real and honest place. Not every depiction of LGBT (or minority in general) characters is going to be a positive one, because that'd be boring and untrue, and I think Jax is well-depicted as a bad person without falling into any of the usual harmful stereotypes.
