"my festive fifty / sturtevant, gonzalez-torres untitled (go-go dancing platform)", lightbulbs, acrylic, wood / 183cm x 183cm x 54cm / 2012

i rebuild elaine sturtevants version of felix gonzalez-torres' "untitled (go-go dancing platform)", painted 50 songlyrics in a room and danced to the songs, whereby i was singing the text-lines painted on the wall, when they occurred in the songs and pointed to them. during the exhibition there was shown a link with the video, while the platform was empty, besides the hotpants, the shoes and the mp3-player, which still was playing the songs.
