Having dug through the court documents (posted in comments) on this, here’s what I found.
By her own account, she waved down her victim in a Sonic parking lot. He bought her something to eat, corroborated by the employee.
They went back to his house. She denied that he had sex with her, or that she was raped. That was never part of her defense. She claimed he showed her his guns that were in a gun cabinet, claimed he was a marksman in the Army, and while they were laying in bed he kept getting up and going to the bathroom, which freaked her out, and some point she decided he was reaching for a gun. So she grabbed hers out of her purse and shot him in the back of the head.
Here’s the problem with this. She claims he tried to touch her in bed, but in her statement she claimed he was sleeping in his underwear. This was false. He was nude under the sheets, lending doubt that she even saw him get in bed, much less walking around the room as much as she claimed.
The victim was found laying on his side, with his fingers laced, placed slightly under his face in a sleeping position.
She robbed him of his guns, cell phone, and wallet, and took his truck back to Cut Throat. She enlisted the help of another male to help her dump the truck in a Walmart parking lot, telling him she was being paid $55,000 dollars to kill John Allen, and asking if he would return to his house and steal more. She called the police from his cell phone giving his address and saying one word: “homicide”, and hanging up.
She bragged to her adoptive mother in a recorded jail call that she “executed him”. At least two other inmates testified she bragged about murdering him and she shot him to “see how it felt” , including a handwritten note she passed admitting the claim she thought he had a gun was a lie. She threatened to murder a nurse who wouldn’t let her use the phone the same way she did John Allen.
The weird thing about this case, is that the man who gave her the ride to the Walmart was found with a folder containing real estate documents signed by her victim, making her statement of being paid $55,000 to kill him very curious. Cyntoia is who told investigators to look for it.
As for being sex trafficked, she was placed in an adoptive home that was described as “very loving” that she had run away from a few months before to be with Cut Throat. She was described as having a genius level intellect and as being stubborn and “very manipulative”. She admitted to doing drugs frequently, but denied early on being a prostitute, changing her story later after discussing it with the inmates who eventually testified against her.
This is why she was found guilty of premeditated murder in the first degree, and aggravated robbery, with her 51 year sentence upheld unanimously by the Tennessee Supreme Court, made up of 3 females and 2 males.
As a side note, Cut Throat was later shot and killed in an altercation, but details are scarce.
100% of court documents are publicly available and everyone is buying the media bs story.
Her conviction was upheld because based on actual evidence rather than feelings.
