I would 100% get emotionally invested in a bird version of The Bachelorette where we see different male birds compete and show off for the female bird’s favor. Every season or episode would be a different species or something. Bonus points if they give them little hypothetical names.

I haven’t seen anyone talk about the sign language interpreters at the halftime show on this site yet (maybe it got drowned out by all the posts idk). I only know about this because my in-laws are deaf and they told us they couldn’t understand the interpreter at the halftime show because she was signing in Spanish.

Her name is Celimar Rivera Cosme and she is a LSPR interpreter, a signed language specific to Puerto Rico. She’s been working with Bad Bunny since 2022.

This is huge news for many reasons but one of them being that LSPR is an endangered language and follows many distinctions unique to Puerto Rican culture and rhythms. Not only did Bad Bunny highlight the beautiful cultures of Latin America but spotlighted the deaf and hard of hearing community of Puerto Rico with so much care and respect. He really thought of everything.

Anyway, I just thought more people should know:)
